Martin Luther King Jr’s niece, Alveda King, just TRASHED Senator Elizabeth Warren for using the lame “bait and switch” strategy and playing the “race card” by using the King name when she spoke in opposition to Senator Jeff Sessions.
Fake Pocahontas Warren doesn’t want Jeff Sessions to be the attorney general, so she spoke out against him and used a letter from Coretta Scott King from 1986 against him. The letter was originally directed towards Sessions in 1986, but those in charge warned Warren TWICE to stop with the bashing of Sessions and to basically be more productive. She failed to listen to two warnings and was barred from speaking any further.
Alveda King has spoken up about this, basically stating that Elizabeth Warren used a deceptive bait and switch maneuver that included playing the race card. Two shameful actions at once! This is the typical democrat weapon of choice – call everyone racist and play the race card.
Too bad it doesn’t work and everyone knows it’s nonsense.
First Elizabeth Warren looks stupid when she’s told to shut up, now she’s getting trashed by Alveda King. There’s something special and hilarious about this!
Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., accused Sen. Elizabeth Warren of performing a “bait and switch” and playing the “race card” in invoking the King family name during her speech Tuesday night in opposition to Sen. Jeff Sessions’ appointment as attorney general.
Warren spent a significant portion of her 50-minute speech from the Senate floor reading from a letter Dr. King’s late widow, Coretta Scott King, wrote in opposition to the appointment of Sessions to be a federal district court judge in 1986.
The letter sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee charged Sessions, then a U.S. attorney serving in Alabama, with being too zealous in his prosecution of a voter fraud case, which involved a drive to get more African-Americans to vote by absentee ballot.
Alveda worked under Coretta and reminds people that Coretta was interested in pulling people together, not splitting them apart. Warren was using Coretta’s words to insult people.
Alveda also reminds people of the work Session’s has done to fight against segregation and also his prosecution of a KKK leader who received the death penalty.
He’s still racist though, right?
