Muslim Detained At JFK For Trump Ban, Says These 3 Words About Trump — ABC IMMEDIATELY Stops Live Show

A man named Hameed Darweesh is an Iraqi interpreter and yesterday he was released after being detained as a result of the executive order signed by President Trump. The order froze all admission of refugees. He was interviewed by ABC as well as other media outlets. When asked about the President he said he liked him but was not sure about him. When ABC ran the clip they purposefully left that part of the segment out.

He said,

America is the greatest nation. The greatest people in the world.”

When specifically asked about the President he said,

“I like him, but I don’t know. This is a policy, I don’t know.”

A Congresswoman was standing by him while he was speaking to reporters. Her response speaks entirely for itself,

Now there is an outcry that ABC is perpetuating fake news as they left this part of the clip out. Instead, they posted to social media the following statements he made but not in their entirety. Clearly done on purpose in a deliberate attempt to distort the truth.

Darweesh put his life on the line as an interpreter for the military. He praises America as the land of freedom after he was released from detention at John F. Kennedy airport. He is fifty-three years old and he was detained along with another man of Iraqi origin whose name is Haider Sameer Abdulkhaleq.

On the 28th a federal judge granted lawyers an emergency stay on the executive order the President passed. ABC reported,

The ruling does not appear to overturn administration policy but does appear to apply to all of those people currently detained at airports across the country who were facing imminent deportation.”

Darweesh was released because of exemptions in the executive order,

that allow the State and Homeland Security departments to admit individuals into the US on a case-by-case base for certain reasons, including when the person is already in transit and it would cause undue hardship and would not pose a threat to the security of the US.”

Under the executive order, men are not considered refugees. Many are arguing that ABC is simply perpetuating fake news.
