Do you remember in 2009 when President Obama said in a speech that America was ‘arrogant and dismissive’ toward the world? Then just a few years later he went on what Mitt Romney called the ‘apology tour’ in 2012 with his apologetic trip through the Middle East. And then this summer as Obama made an unprecedented trip to Hiroshima for the purpose of confessing American error. The biggest issue I have with Obama telling the world that America is wrong and bad is that it’s a flagrant lie. Obama has benefited from Americas prosperity and strength. The world has benefited from America’s prosperity and strength. Do you even remember what terrorists the Japanese were before Hiroshima? They were not civilized, they wanted to take over the world and they used suicide bombers to try and do that. What America tried before the Atom bomb wasn’t working. And look at all of the amazing good that has come of it? Nothing that Obama thinks about America is an error… and slavery wasn’t an American error it was a British colonialist error that was ended just decades after America even became a nation! No one else was eradicating slavery and it was a practice for most nations for thousands of years but NOT in America… we (the Republican Party) got rid of that British problem as fast as we could.
Obama’s constant apologizing for who America is and what America has accomplished has taken it’s toll on the world. Terrorist attacks en-masse have spread across the world including hitting the U.S. which is something that would never have happened before Obama. His insidious speeches about race designed to divide the nation has not only caused riots around the nation, put police officers in danger but has also created a stigma that America is unfair to… well everyone if you name women, blacks, Hispanics, gays, trans, the working class I think this is really a fill in the blank. From a conservative or liberal point of view just about every group in America is being bullied by America. This is wholly untrue because we still offer more opportunities and fairness to any individual of any type than anywhere else in the world. The media with Obama’s help has established another story that America is a bully, America is unfair and America is horrible to everyone.
It stands to reason that the U.S. isn’t fairing too well in popularity in the Olympics after Obama’s disparaging campaign against the United States.
During a match against Puerto Rico, the U.S. Olympic Women’s Indoor Volleyball team lost a point near the end of the second match. After the referees ‘ball out’ call, the Brazilian audience cheered for the U.S. point loss. NBC Olympic announcer pointed out the negative reaction saying that, “you heard the cheers from the pro-Brazilian, pro-Puerto Rican crowd here. You don’t know, the United States gets cheered against everywhere in the world except the United States.”
But America will still be America no matter who cheers or jeers. The United States went on to beat Puerto Rico sweeping three games to zero.
