Only one year being denied his request to wear his military dress uniform to his High School Graduation, tragically the New Hampshire Marine was killed in combat while serving his country in Afghanistan.
Lance Cpl. Brandon Garabrant, 19, was killed by an IED, and two of his fellow Marines lost their lives in the same incident that occurred on Friday
[pull_quote_center]“The entire state of New Hampshire is devastated by the loss of Lance Cpl. Brandon Garabrant, who was bravely serving his nation in Afghanistan,” Gov. Maggie Hassan said in a statement.[/pull_quote_center]
Garabrant graduated from ConVal Regional High School in Peterborough, N.H., in 2013, he had just graduated Marine Bootcamp the day prior to his graduation and really wanted to show his pride for the country he loved. Unfortunately, he never had the chance to do such, and I’m sure hope his school realizes the error in hindsight.
