This is simply outrageous! And I blame the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for this. He fully supports Black Lives Matter, but when the Dallas Cowboys asked for a simple sticker on their helmets to support the fallen police officers there in Dallas, they were denied. They cited that all teams must be uniform… but stickers have been displayed before for fallen athletes, etc. So why not now? Because it’s not politically correct evidently. It was just a simple “arm in arm” decal.
This is the same NFL that allows players to kneel during the National Anthem and disrespect our country, our police officers and our military. And they wonder why their revenues have taken a nosedive. This is why they are being boycotted. The NFL allowed a halftime show where Beyonce spewed racist, cop-hatred and honored terrorists… but put a decal on a helmet supporting police and you’ll be fined or reprimanded. Can’t have that, now can we?
This is also the same NFL that fined players for wearing commemorative cleats in honor of 9-11, but from what I hear have let other players wear clears dishonoring police officers. Their agenda and leanings seem pretty damn clear to me.
From Fury News:
The NFL has officially denied the Dallas Cowboys request to honor police by wearing a sticker on their helmets. The Cowboys wanted to show their support for the Officers that were killed in the Dallas Police Shooting. The “arm in arm” decal was going to be wore on the uniforms for the preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams. The Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones informed the media that NFL officials said every team must be uniform, the stickers were not allowed. The Cowboys are forced to drop the decal that would honor the Dallas Police Officers.
The hypocrisy of the NFL is astounding. The NFL had absolutely no issue at all with Beyonce parading her racist butt on stage in a black panther themed outfit. The show was widely criticized for being anti-white and racist. Apparently racism against whites is perfectly ok in the NFL, but standing up for police officers is not. Furthermore, several teams have been allowed to wear stickers on their helmets or uniform to honor deceased players or others affiliated with the organization. However honoring cops is against the rules at the National Football League, so why does the NFL use police for security events?
If I were the police, I would stop all security for NFL games. There are good people in the NFL, but the ones running it aren’t in the least supportive of our heroes. A local Marxist so-called journalist applauded the move, saying that NFL teams should not be politicized. But they already are and this idiot knows it. He just doesn’t want the ‘wrong kind’ of politics practiced… i.e. conservative.
In my world, my country, police officers and the military are far more important than a football game. Americans should boycott anything to do with the NFL until this is stopped and sanity is reinstated. If I were a Dallas Cowboy player, I’d wear the decal anyway. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
