This is just whacked. The NFL is fining three players $6,000 each for wearing cleats commemorating 9/11. Tennessee Titans linebacker Avery Williamson, New York Giants receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz all are going to take a hit to their wallets. All three seem fine with that… they knew it was coming and I think they view it as a form of charity and well worth the penalty. They honored America and almost 3,000 Americans who perished that fateful day at the hands of Islamic terrorists. That’s character.
However, Colin Kaepernick (asshat extraordinaire), is not touched at all or even reprimanded for sitting out the National Anthem and starting a hateful trend in the NFL to disrespect our country, the military and our police. It’s disgusting. But there are many wonderful, patriotic players and coaches in the NFL who condemn that. Not all of them are idiots and the good outweighs the bad here. But it is obscene that the NFL itself is such a political animal that they pull this kind of stunt.
From The Daily Caller:
The NFL will reportedly fine three NFL players for wearing cleats that honored 9/11 victims and first responders during games on the 15-year anniversary of the attacks.
Tennessee Titans linebacker Avery Williamson and New York Giants receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz are each expecting a $6,000 fine for their patriotic shoes, according to Fox News reporter Trace Gallagher.

It appeared initially that the NFL might turn a blind eye to these players for violating the league’s uniform code, but it looks like all three will take a hit to their wallets.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell deserves a raspberry over this one. He’s a liberal tool evidently. Goodell says he supports Colin Kaepernick for sitting during the national anthem, yet at the same time might punish players who honor 9/11. Looks like he meant it. But not all players who wore the cleats that honored 9/11 have been fined yet. I’m sure Goodell will get around to it though in good time.
Goodell sat down and talked with NBC’s Matt Lauer to discuss San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision to disrespect America and sit during the national anthem. “I support our players speaking out on issues they think need to be changed in our society. We don’t live in a perfect society Matt. Our players have strong views about things so I support our players speaking out about that,” Goodell told Lauer when asked if he was proud of Kaepernick.
Goodell also doesn’t support military veterans unless paid to do so. He just made All-un-American. The man is a liberal schmuck.
