WHOOPS! Nobel Committee Regrets Awarding Barack Obama The Nobel Peace Prize

When President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize even his supporters were a bit taken aback. Simply because of the fact that they knew he did nothing to deserve it. Now after recent comments that were made it appears that even the committee of those who choose the winners of the Nobel Peace Prize regret their decision to award him the prestigious honor.

According to Truthfeed the committee was trying to experiment when they awarded the then President Obama the Nobel Peace Prize back in 2009. They were trying to encourage the freshly elected President, who had only been in office for two years, to follow through with his lofty promises of peace. But that is according to one former member of the Nobel committee.

Geir Lundestaf was a one time Secretary of the Nobel Committee. He spoke to reporters with the Associated Press and expressed that he had hoped the award would provide the President with the strength to do what was right. But they felt that he had not lived up to his promises of promoting peace. Regardless of the White Houses’ believe that the President had in his tenure,

“lived up to the standard that he has set for himself.”

Lundestaf said,

“No Nobel Peace Prize ever elicited more attention than the 2009 prize to Barack Obama. Even many of Obama’s supporters believed that the prize was a mistake. In that sense, the committee didn’t achieve what it had hoped for.”

These comments come at a time shortly before he is due to publish his memoirs in a book. These comments are reportedly from excerpts of his book that is ready to be published and sent to the presses.

Even Obama’s supporters know that he is full of baloney. Just like his entire administration he is a phony. He built his campaign on promises of hope and was the same old establishment candidate who was driven by his own progressive agenda to fundamentally change the core of our nations principles.
