Obama explains why a baseball game in Cuba is perfect after deadly terrorist attack

From BizPav Review

With yet another Islamic State terrorist attack occurring in Europe, this time while President Barack Obama was enjoying his “historic” trip to Cuba, Obama was asked during an interview with ESPN taking place at a ballpark about whether he considered skipping the game so he could focus on responding to the deadly attack.

“It’s always a challenge when you have a terrorist attack anywhere in the world, particularly in this age of 24/7 news coverage,” the president said. “You want to be respectful and understand the gravity of the situation, but the whole premise of terrorism is to try to disrupt people’s ordinary lives.”

In other words, Obama, who was sporting shades at the time, said he was not going to let a terrorist attack that claimed the lives of at least 30 people interrupt his plans to take in a ballgame.

A choice of priorities that the former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, blasted as “outrageous” on Tuesday.

And he had a grand ol’ time, even taking part in the wave. The only unanswered question, according to one social media user, was did Obama and communist dictator Raul Castro get on the Kiss Cam?

Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
