Wish I could say I was surprised by this, but I’m absolutely not. Obama took time in China at the G20 to defend Colin Kaepernick’s disgraceful actions. Obama hates the police and loves Black Lives Matter, so this shouldn’t shock anyone. He hates America more than Kaepernick does.
Obama evidently wholeheartedly agrees with Colin Kaepernick’s sentiment that police are killing too many black criminals and not sacrificing their lives for political correctness. They should just be slaughtered… quietly. Especially if they are white, y’all.
From The New York Post:
President Obama on Monday defended San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to stand during the playing of the national anthem.
“[H]e’s following his constitutional right to make a statement,” Obama said at a press conference in Hangzhou, China, responding to a question about the quarterback. “I think there’s a long history of sports figures doing so.”
The president added, “I don’t doubt his sincerity. I think he cares about some real, legitimate issues that have to be talked about. And if nothing else, he’s generated some conversation around some topics that need to be talked about it.”
Kaepernick has refused to stand for the pre-game playing of the national anthem, citing racial injustice and the oppression of minorities in America.
I’m a constitutional conservative, but even I know there are times that leftists use the Constitution to justify abhorrent behavior. This is one of those times. And while we are at it, those ‘legitimate issues’ that Obama barks about, include the assassination of cops by Black Lives Matter thugs. You might also want to ‘discuss’ black-on-black crime… you know, like in Chicago for instance. N’est-ce pas?
If Obama could get away with it, he wouldn’t stand for the National Anthem either. He’s already been caught not putting his hand over his heart. This is a president who invites Black Lives Matter and CAIR to the White House on a regular basis.
At Monday’s press conference, Obama reiterated his call for an “active citizenry” and praised the 28 year-old professional athlete for speaking out: “I would rather have young people who are engaged in the argument and trying to think through how they can be part of our democratic process than people who are just sitting on the sidelines and not paying attention at all.” Yeppers, what he would really like is rioting and chaos in the streets of America. He’s working on that.
Obama ended his waxing eloquent over the rights of Kaepernick (while studiously avoiding the rights of Americans, police and the military) and ended by calling for justice and equality. For who exactly? And as we all know when it comes to Marxists, it depends on the definition of ‘justice and equality’. With Obama that’s likely to be determined by race and political leanings.
