George W. Bush was a class act during Barack Obama’s presidency – refusing to comment negatively about Barack Obama while he was in office. It was a precedent he wanted to set, so Obama was asked if he’d publicly criticize Donald Trump once he was in office. He said he would only criticize Trump if he thought it would be “helpful or necessary.” He also said he would criticize Trump if he did anything “un-American” – which is rich coming from Obama of all people. That man probably thinks the Constitution is un-American.
While Obama hasn’t criticized Trump yet, we’re not even a month into his presidency yet, so there’s plenty of time for that to change. Meanwhile, Obama has praised the anti-Trump protests that followed his travel ban, which he claims he was “heartened” by.
According to the Conservative Post:
Obama will apparently be leading the charge with 30,000 protesters located just 2 miles from the Oval Office, in an effort to Disrupt President Trump’s goals and ambitions and aiming for the ultimate goal – impeachment.
According to sources, Obama plans on accomplishing this through a network of non-profit organizations operating under the parent agency “Organizing for Action“.
Any normal situation would call for the ex-President to retire from politics, but this isn’t the case with Obama. He refused to uphold the sacred tradition designed to protect the presidency from partisanship that might cause harm to the democratic framework of the government system.
But even the election cycle showed the whole world that America is doing everything but sticking to its routine.
Remember, Barack Obama will be the first President since Woodrow Wilson to stay in Washington D.C. after leaving the White House. There’s a reason for that: he wants to continue to influence politics.
Obama is out of the White House, but don’t let him get out of the conservative media’s crosshairs. His attempts to thwart Donald Trump have only just begun.
