via BuzzPo: A young girls letter to President Barack Obama has been making headlines lately, sparking a robust debate online.
Obama first mentioned her letter during a speech of his in Kansas City, saying it was a detailed list of potential female candidates to have their faces put on new bills and coins. Apparently he thinks this is “a pretty good idea.”
Not long after this comment, this notion became an increasingly hot topic online, leading to New York Magazine creating a $20 bill with Oprah’s face on it. On the other hand, The New Republic chose to place Harriet Tubman on a $100 bill.
