Obamacare premiums will get worse and are planned to skyrocket by 2017. Of course that’s the plan when everyone hates the service. Have you ever met someone who was happy with Obamacare?
I haven’t and I don’t think I will after the premiums rise.
ZERO HEDGE – If Obamacare enrollments continue their current trend and insurers continue to hike premiums at alarming rates then Republicans may not have to worry about “repealing and replacing Obamacare” as it might just work itself out “naturally”. The 4th open enrollment period for Obamacare begins on November 1, 2016 and industry experts are warning that another year of tepid demand from “young and healthy” Americans could force more insurers out of the exchanges effectively marking the end of Obamacare as we know it. According to a story published by The Hill, 11 million people bought health insurance through the exchanges for 2016 which was drastically below the Congressional Budget Office’s initial projection of 21 million.
I know a few people who have Obamacare and they all hate it. Some of my friends are self employed and they get stuck with super high premiums. Some other people who have it are older people who are on the verge of retirement and only work part time, so their job doesn’t provide benefits, but Obamacare is way more expensive then what they had before and it’s ruining their life as well.
Obamacare was supposed to provide healthcare for people who can’t afford it. However, it seems like almost no one can afford it. With premiums as high as they are now and set to rise again, it’s no wonder the entire country is unhappy with Obamacare. Even the name of it is terrible. I don’t want my health insurance associated with that President.
Give me Lincolncare and I’ll be happy.
A friend of mine who is self employed recently cut his leg open while on a surfing trip. He required 10 stitches. It was his first visit to the hospital that year and he said they wanted him to pay his full premium to get the stitches.
He went home, glued his leg shut in the most ghetto fashion, and canceled his Obamacare.
Before Obamacare, he paid for his own healthcare that suited his needs. His emergency room visits were $50 and he was in and out.
To ask someone to pay their full $3,000 premium for a few stitches is ridiculous.
Thankfully it was a cut on his shin and not somewhere important and it healed fine, but that shows the mentality of people and Obamacare. They’d rather play doctor on their own body and risk infection before shelling out thousands for Obamacare.
Seems like many of the main healthcare insurance companies are getting sick of the Obamacare too.
Add the fact that Obama spent way too much on a website that barely worked, with the customer service that’s terrible and the super high premiums and you’ll see that no one likes Obamacare
Get rid of it.
