PHOTOS: DNC Erects Four-Mile Eight-Foot Tall Fence Around Philly Convention Site

Fence

Just as I predicted, the fence the Democrats built around the Wells Fargo Complex was eight feet, not six feet tall. They wanted to be extra sure people didn’t scale it. I find it highly ironic that the party that is soooo against building a wall on our southern border is hot to trot to build a wall to protect their sorry behinds at the Democratic National Convention. It would be supremely amusing if it weren’t so blood-boiling infuriating.

Protesters noted that there were acres and acres and acres of fence. Do tell. Still curious to know if they have snipers there with evil black guns. I know there is a whole legion of police officers on bikes patrolling the protests. They claim 30,000 Bernie Sanders acolytes will be marching in the streets there and they are beyond ticked at Hillary Clinton and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

From The American Mirror:

To the Democratic National Committee elites, keeping average Americans away from their convention is a good idea, while protecting the southern border from intruding terrorists, rapists and murderers is a bad one.

The DNC has erected a four-mile fence around its convention site at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. (Isn’t it ironic they’re doing so much to protect a site named after a bank?)

The fence, which appears to be about 8 feet tall, is intended to keep out any individuals with whom Democratic Party leaders, delegates and other liberal elites would rather not mingle.

I understand the fence is four miles long. The Wells Fargo Center is situated at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, a cluster of stadiums and arenas where the city’s teams play their home games. The area also includes Xfinity Live!, Citizens Bank Park, Lincoln Financial Field and nearby FDR Park.

When news first emerged in June that a no-scale fence would allegedly keep Bernie Sanders protesters and others outside the convention security perimeter, it was referred to as a Bernie Barrier. In a recent interview with Univision, Hillary Clinton declared that building a wall is an incorrect approach and instead “we should be building bridges… building understanding.” She evidently has select amnesia and is confused – she just built a wall, not a bridge.

Bustle reports:

Protesters [were] afraid that the wall would block delegates from seeing or hearing the scores of Bernie Sanders supporters who planned to descend upon the convention space…But the tens of thousands of protesters expected to attend the convention shouldn’t worry too much, Philadelphia’s Deputy Managing Director Brian Abernathy told Philly.com. Abernathy assured protesters that the fencing around FDR park would not block their visibility to the convention space. ‘It is in close proximity to the delegates. Busses drive right by them. They will be seen and they will be heard.

Bernie’s buds are determined to make their presence known and voices heard. They have three main gripes:

  • There had been a plot designed to smear Bernie Sanders and to hand the Democratic nomination to Hillary on a silver platter.
  • There has been repeated collusion between the DNC and the media.
  • There has been questionable fundraising for both Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

I’m not sure that the fence they have built will hold up against so many protesters if they decide to take it down. I guess we’ll see. Things could get very violent at the Democratic National Convention this week and their party could fracture apart. You won’t find an ounce of sympathy here if it does.
