This powerful meme really says it all. There is simply no comparison between Colin Kaepernick and Glen Coffee. They are world’s apart. Kaepernick makes millions, while Coffee is serving the country that Kaepernick won’t show any respect for.
It all started Friday night when Kaepernick was at a pre-season game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers. He refused to stand for the National Anthem, saying that he would not stand for a country that oppresses blacks. He went so far as to suggest that blacks were dead in the streets, while cops took paid leave and got away with murder. All of that is a lie and aggressively anti-American.
Glen Coffee was drafted by the 49ers in 2009. But in 2010, he joined the Army. He eventually graduated from the Army Airborne School. He’s now a paratrooper and a Ranger and he fights every damned day for America and our freedom.
From Young Conservatives:
By now you’ve heard about the exploits of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
He refused to stand for the National Anthem during his team’s preseason game this past Friday night, citing how America “oppresses black people.”
He mistakenly replaced the word ‘Democrats’ with ‘America,’ but it is what it is.
The guy is ignorant.
However, unless you’re a diehard football fan, the name Glen Coffee probably doesn’t ring a bell.
Coffee was drafted in the third round by the niners back in 2009 after a successful collegiate career at Alabama.
He played only one year with San Francisco before God took him down another path, and he decided to enlist in the U.S. Army. Granted, Coffee was struggling to make the team in his second season before deciding to enlist, but that’s really a moot point.
After a few run-ins with the law, Coffee graduated from the United States Army Airborne School.
As of 2015, Coffee is a paratrooper at the Ranger School and works for the 6th Ranger Training Battalion.
Both men are the same age. One chose service, while the other chose riches. That’s a stark contrast if I ever saw one. One loves his country and offers his life to defend her… the other bashes America and displays nothing but disrespect and hatred for her. I think I’ll take the patriot Glen Coffee please.
I salute all of our vets. And just as Young Conservatives does, I give a shout out to the late and great Pat Tillman. Kaepernick is not worthy to clean Coffee’s shoes and he’s definitely no Tillman. He’s simply an embarrassment.
