The FBI has come under increasing scrutiny after they acknowledged that Hillary Clinton had committed a crime, yet chose not to recommend any charges. And it’s getting worse the more information becomes public. The latest juicy tidbit? Governor Terry McAuliffe, a friend of Hillary Clinton’s, helped her case by giving some money to the FBI deputy director’s wife.
McAuliffe’s political action committee gave a whopping $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign for Dr. Jill McCabe, who just happens to be married to Andrew McCabe, the deputy director of the FBI. McCabe helped to oversee the investigation into Hillary’s e-mail scandal. But that wasn’t all!
It turns out that the Virginia Democratic Party, which McAuliffe obviously holds a significant amount of control over, also donated over $270,000 to McCabe’s campaign in the form of mailers supporting her. That’s over $675,000 altogether, a third of all the campaign funds McCabe was able to raise.
