This is political correctness gone insane. It’s just plain stupid. In San Francisco, the police union put an innocent picture of two dogs in their newsletter. The black lab is wearing a sign around its neck that reads “Black Labs Matter;” the other pup is wearing an “All Labs Matter” sign. The caption to the photo’s left reads, ”Maybe it’s time we all just sit back and tone down the rhetoric…” What the hell is wrong with that? I think it is absolutely right and the point is made in a cute, non-obtrusive way.
But leave it to someone that is in the police force and president of the… get this… Officers for Justice group to get their panties in a wad over it. Sergeant Yulanda Williams is calling it ‘insensitive’ and ‘inflammatory’. She also called it insulting – what? Is she a dog? There are not enough facepalms in the world for this one.
From Allen West:
As The Blaze reports, The photo on the back page of the union newsletter depicts two Labrador retrievers sitting next to each other. One is a black lab; the other is presumably a yellow lab. The black lab is wearing a sign around its neck that reads “Black Labs Matter;” the other pooch is donning an “All Labs Matter” sign.
The caption to the photo’s left reads, ”Maybe it’s time we all just sit back and tone down the rhetoric…”
For Sergeant Yulanda Williams, president of Officers for Justice — an organization within the San Francisco police force representing black and other non-white officers — the photo “once again shows a severe lack of understanding,” she told SFGate. “It’s so inflammatory, and they still don’t get it. They still choose to inflame situations, and it’s just really insulting.”
The U.S. Department of Justice is in the midst of a collaborative, top-to-bottom review of the police force that was launched after officers shot and killed a stabbing suspect, Mario Woods, in the Bayview neighborhood in December.
Now the police union is under fire from these racist Marxists. A panel of judges investigating bias, criticized the publication of the dog photo, saying, “It shows a severe lack of judgment and empathy for the real and justified pain and outrage that black communities are feeling.” You’ve got to be freaking kidding me?! This is just absurd.
How about focusing instead on the assassination of cops, cop-hatred and safety? How about black on black crime? I guess that’s just too ‘insensitive’ to face huh? Whenever anyone says All Lives Matter, these moonbats come unglued. They think only Black Lives Matter.
