One of the biggest monster centers of the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal, literally crushes Colin Kaepernick and his childish protest of the American Flag.
The words said by Mr. Kazaam himself are almost identical to what I would say in response to Kaepernick’s idiot protest towards America and cops.
It’s so close to what I would say that I now think Shaq and I are the same person, minus the height and bank account and fact that I can drain at least six out of ten free-throws in comparison to his two out of one hundred.
Here’s what we heard from Shaq:
RightWing News – “All police ain’t bad, just like all athletes ain’t bad. Just like all guys in your line of business ain’t bad. We all have the letter of the law to follow. And if you don’t follow that, it shouldn’t always be a reflection of who you work for or who you’re with. Are there some bad policemen? Of course. Guaranteed there are. And hopefully they’re tried and brought to justice.”
“When I get stopped by the cops, I’m not worried,” he continued. “And it has nothing to do with being Shaq. You know why? I show respect. ‘Yes, sir. No, sir.’ That’s how I was taught. I was raised by a drill sergeant, and that’s who I am. Doesn’t matter if it’s a black guy, white guy, whatever. I’m not going to make it uncomfortable for you, because I don’t want it uncomfortable for me. There’s not going to be any talking back — none of that.” O’Neal said
Shaq tells it like it is. That’s how it’s supposed to be. When you get pulled over, then you show respect to the officer and you get respect back. Usually you still get a ticket, but maybe you can get a ticket of a lesser fine or even plead it down to something smaller.
You always have more options when you’re polite to police and accept your adult responsibility and hold yourself accountable for your actions, especially if you’re driving 50 in a 20 and look at the officer like THEY did something wrong.
Nope. You’re caught. Own up to it and be super nice and maybe you’ll get lucky with a smaller ticket.
At the very least, if you’re polite then you won’t get shot like all those idiots who escalate a cheap speeding ticket into a shootout.
Shaq mentions that there’s always a bad apple in the bunch at every job. Of course there is. Think about where you work. Now think about who the idiot at work is. If you can’t think of one, then you either work with all awesome people or you’re the idiot. Hmmmm…..
Chances are there’s usually at least one person at work who can’t pull their own weight, is shady, or simply unlikable.
It’s no different with police. For every 100 cops, there’s got to be at least one officer who is more prickly than a cactus. Just like there’s always that one bus driver who’s drives by you as you’re running up to the bus stop 30 seconds late. There’s always the one jerk-bag bartender who pours an awful drink and charges you for two. There’s just always a bad person at every occupation. We’ve had a golfer as President for the last eight years, so what does that tell you?
No job is off limits from less than desirable employees.
Be nice to people and they’ll usually be nice back.
