If You Find A Shirt Wrapped Around Your Windshield Wiper, Don't Touch It! Here's SICK The Thing It Means

A young Michigan woman was leaving her workplace after a late evening shift when she walked out to her car and noticed a shirt that wasn’t hers wrapped around the windshield wiper. She could see that it wasn’t just tossed there and was concerned about how it got there when she learned the sickening purpose for it seconds later as she began to drive away.

In a now viral Facebook post, Ashley Hardacre said she and a few other female coworkers walked out to the parking lot together, as they always do to keep each other safe. Their cars and a couple others were all that were in the lot outside their workplace in Flint, Michigan, but only Hardacre’s vehicle had a strange plaid shirt wrapped around the windshield wiper.

She said that the find instantly gave her a bad feeling and instead of trying to untangle the shirt, she left it there and is now warning others of what happened next. “There were two cars near me and one was running so I immediately felt uneasy and knew I couldn’t get out to get it off,” she wrote in her social media post. With the shirt still on her windshield, she drove a short distance away to where she felt a little safer and stopped to get the clothing off her car before continuing on home.

“At first I thought maybe someone had just thrown it on my car for some odd reason. I used my windshield wipers to try to get them off but the shirt was completely wrapped around my wiper blade,” she wrote and when that didn’t work she got out and got rid of it after making sure nobody else was around. “I had seen posts lately about people finding things under their windshield wipers in the burton/Flint area as an attempt to get girls out of their cars and distracted,” Hardacre explained, 11 Alive reported.

While she continued in her post that she wasn’t for certain why the shirt was on her car in the first place, considering everything else about her surroundings and the intentional manner it was on the wiper blade, Hardacre is certain that this was a new attempt for a predator to take advantage of a distracted girl. “I really can’t think of another reason as to why someone would put it on my car,” she said. A police officer from a different state commented on Hardacre post that his department has been “investigating the same thing here that has ended up with 9 rapes and the last two have went on to be homicides.”

Hardacre hopes that her experience serves as a warning to others. If you see something unusual under your windshield wiper and have to get out of your car to get it off, wait to do it in an area away from where you parked. The car that was parked and running near this young woman likely had the person inside her put the shirt there and Hardacre outsmarted them at their own sick game.
