Video taken on a subway has quite a few people cheering after a thug decided to mouth off a little too hard. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t exactly know who was behind him, and he’d only later find out. He really should have looked.
The incident took place on a subway as daily commuters were merely trying to get from one place to another. Although it’s unclear what started the entire ordeal, things quickly come into focus as the altercation originally began between two men.
With one man holding a bike in defense, he can be heard telling the aggressor to back up in order to avoid things coming to a physical level. Seemingly intoxicated, the thug hints that the other man called him a “weirdo,” which may have been what started it all.
Things took a brief intermission as the aggressor walked away, but he would later come storming back after another man on the train once again called him a “weirdo,” seemingly in an act of instigation. Unfortunately for the thug, he should have looked to see who was behind him.
While in the face of the man who just insulted him, little did he know he was about to take a quick nap. Without warning, a man grabbed him from behind and put him in a sleeper hold until the shirtless aggressor passed out – but the best was yet to come.
With the man now indisposed and the good Samaritan standing guard with a foot on his chest, viewers find out exactly who this guy is. At about the 1:27 mark, he orders the bully to stay on the ground before saying, “I’m a cop.”
This idiot’s day just went from bad to worse. He was likely to be knocked out and left bleeding all over himself, but instead earned himself a set of shiny new bracelets, a new picture, and a stay in a cage. It just goes to show, if you’re going to try to dominate a situation, you better have a good grasp on what’s going on around you. It’s called situational awareness, and clearly this moron didn’t have any.
