Think it’s a coincidence that practically every mass public shooting has occurred in a place where firearms are banned? From 1950 through February 2016, there have been three mass public shootings in places where general citizens are allowed to have guns — that is just over 1 percent of the shootings over that period.
It’s not a coincidence, of course. Those bent on killing as many people as physically possible want to meet as little resistance as possible – particularly armed resistance.
One school decided to provide a heads up to anyone who may be wanting to cause them harm, which you can view below.

“Please be aware that the staff at Medina ISD may be armed and will use whatever force is necessary to protect our students,” the sign reads.
The image has gone viral, and the response on Facebook has been overwhelmingly positive.
According to the school’s superintendent “I think that anybody who might have a thought about harming someone in mind might think twice about it.” She doesn’t appear to be referring to a shooter in particular, but anyone who may try to cause harm.
As CW33 reports:
A lot of parents seem to be OK with the sign, citing the string of school shootings over the years.
“Schools have been a target for, for lack of a better word, crazy people, and I’m perfectly fine with it,” said Jillian Sides, who has two sons, one in 7th grade and one in kindergarten, at the school.
Right now the sign is only at one of the school’s entrances, but other signs will eventually be placed at other entrances, so no one can say they weren’t warned.
It’s rare that you see so much positive feedback to such a story, but perhaps the fact that it takes place in Texas has something to do with it.
Regardless, you know there are liberals somewhere who are reading this story and fuming. Personally, I don’t understand how this could upset anyone. If a shooter enters the building, the worst case scenario has already happened. Having a good guy with a gun can ONLY help.
