Remember the band Third Eye Blind? They played at a charity event that was being held at the Republican National Convention. The charity event was setup by the Recording Industry Association of America for the nonprofit, Musicians On Call. Musicians On Call performs for hospital patients.
GOP convention goers attended the event, and the lead singer, Stephan Jenkins openly mocked them about their views on climate change and gay marriage, according to The Hill.
When he was booed, Jenkins responded by telling the crowd, “You can boo all you want but I’m the motherf—ing artist up here,” and “Who here believes in science?”
Well, the band has a new EP out called “We are Drugs.” One of the songs on the EP is titled, “Cop Vs. Phone girl.”
According to Blue Lives Matter,
“The song is specifically about an altercation in 2015 between a student and a School Resource Officer at Spring Valley High School in South Carolina. During that incident, the student failed to comply with orders form the school administration and after striking the School Resource Officer in the face and body was forcibly thrown to the floor and taken into custody.”
The student in question is black, the officer, South Carolina sheriff’s deputy, Ben Fields, is white.
Of course, race hustler Jesse Jackson got involved, Tweeting out that Fields “should be fired and the police department should be sued.”

Fields was eventually fired.
The funny thing? The teacher who called Fields to remove the unruly student, is black. Many students and parents after finding out what really happened, supported Deputy Fields. Students even held a protest in SUPPORT of Fields, demanding that he get his job back. According to the Daily Mail,
“Around 100 students at the school held a rally in support of Fields. Pupils said they wanted to support the cop and help protect his reputation as they marched out of classes on Friday. Students chanted the cop’s name and wore shirts which said ‘Free Fields’ and ‘Bring Back Fields’. Senior London Harrell was among Fields’ supporters and told WLTX: ‘We just want to show that we’re still supporting him and that he’s still a good guy. ‘We don’t want his reputation to be ruined because of something that happened on Monday.'”
Ironically, many of the students supporting Fields were black.
Here’s a short video of the protest.
Third Eye Blind decided to “stretch” the truth a bit about what happened, being the BLM supporters/cop haters that they are.
Part of the lyrics go: “Tossed across that room face down on the deck / He put his hands on a 16-year-old girl’s neck / On the classroom floor there’s a little blood spatter / Why’s it so hard to say Black Lives Matter?”
Regarding the school, “52% of its students are African American and 30% are white,” according to NY Daily News.
So here we have a punk-a** BLM girl, disrupting a class, disobeying a teacher, and slapping a School Resource Officer. If her parents had raised her to be anything other than a piece of sh-t, and to respect authority, she wouldn’t have gotten the WWE slam down treatment.
Of course, crackheads like Third Eye Blind’s Jenkins with their drug induced views of “justice,” will always champion the lawbreakers.
I blame bad parenting. SJWs like Jenkins blame mean, racist cops. I’ve had my face slammed into the back of a police car when I was a teenager. And I’m WHITE. I was being a dumba**, cussing out a cop. I got what I deserved. Jenkins and other ilk like him will never say that individuals are responsible for their own actions. They’ll always play the “victim” game. Hopefully Jenkins mouths off to a cop and resists and gets the full John Cena treatment with a WWE body slam. It’d serve him right.
Here’s the crappy, whine-fest ditty Jenkins calls music.
Here’s the awesome beat down video. Fields spent 15 minutes in the classroom trying to remove the student before he resorted to the “physical option.” I woulda gone that route in 5. 😉 If you play the video slowed down, you can see the student hitting Fields in the face.
Free Fields! Boycott Third Eye Blind!
