Lyndarius Witherspoon shot & killed his pregnant girlfriend, then proceeded to fire at officers who were in pursuit.
Witherspoon shot his girlfriend, Alexandra Caldwell, who was expecting next January, in front of a playground full of small children & their mothers. Witherspoon sped away from the scene of the crime, driving through the streets of Tupelo, Mississippi.
Police in Tupelo were tipped off to Witherspoon’s license plate via a law enforcement alert. An officer recognized Witherspoon’s license and gave chase.
Witherspoon began taking video of himself during the chase and posted it to his Facebook page. In the video, he said that he had killed a Tupelo cab driver a little over a month ago. Another man, Leonta Gates, was charged with the murder.
Witherspoon continued: “I’m strapped up,” he said, laughing. “I guess we’re going to take these mother f*ckers on a high speed chase.”
During the chase, Witherspoon began firing at pursuing officers. Tupelo Police Capt. Chuck McDougald told DJournal News that 3 patrol cars were hit, and that Witherspoon ran his Chevy Malibu into a fourth cruiser.
Officers cornered Witherspoon at an apartment complex, and a gun battle ensued. Witherspoon was shot and wounded. He was later declared dead at an area hospital.

Moral to the story? If you want to have a gunfight with cops, make sure your aim doesn’t SUCK.
Actually, the moral to the story is… don’t be a pos thug & kill your pregnant girlfriend & then try & kill cops. It’s very likely you’ll live a LOT longer.
