President Trump campaigned on many promises that appealed to the hardworking middle class. Not only did he solemnly swear to dismantle Obama’s pet projects like the Affordable Care Act and immigration problem, but his business sense is strongly motivating him to balance the American budget.
With the national debt increasing by about $200 billion during the Obama administration, President Trump is going to have a hard row to hoe if he plans to right the ship during his term. The president will probably make a lot of people angry if he successfully cuts enough spending to fix America’s problems. A previous announcement said that the State Department budget would be getting slashed by 33% in order make room for more funds to go toward the military. It’s almost like our Commander in Chief understands that to spend money in one department, you need to take it out of another, not just have someone print more money.
One side effect of these budget cuts is that the Trump Administration announced that if foreigners want to tour the White House they should contact their respective embassies. In response, embassies have said effectively there are no tours of the White House available.
According to the official White House statement, visitors from the UK and elsewhere can apply for places, saying: “If you wish to visit the White House and are a citizen of a foreign country, please contact your embassy in Washington, DC for assistance in submitting a tour request.”
“However, the Embassy has been advised by the US Department of State that this is on hold.”
“We are therefore unable to process any applications at this time.”
This has the ever inflamed left highly agitated with President Trump, and ready to, once again, brand him unpresidential. Forgive me if I’m wrong here, but I believe the reason that the President is also called the Commander in Chief is that he’s the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. I don’t know of anywhere that it says “tour guide” in the job description.
Let’s re-cap why he is making these cuts:
The media has not reported that the National Debt in my first month went down by $12 billion vs a $200 billion increase in Obama first mo.

President Trump is doing exactly what he promised and putting America’s safety and economic health before anything, especially the sad political games that most lawmakers play. I think it’s time we consider the long term effects of what is going on in the White House instead of letting the touchy feely and illogical left tell us what to think. America is finally being put first, and that should make us feel good.
