BREAKING: Trump Just Released A Heart Breaking Statement— We NEVER Saw Obama Do This!

The weight of a job like the presidency is extraordinary. Unlike many other burdens. The individual holds people’s lives in their hands. President Trump is no different to other presidents in that regard. The President released a statement today mourning the death of a Navy SEAL member under his command. He was unfortunately killed this past weekend during a raid against Al Qaeda members in the Arabian Peninsula.

This is the first recorded combat death under the President. Three others were injured but not killed during the raid. The raid also took the lives of several senior level AQAP leaders. CNN reported that President Trump has released the following statement about the incident,

In a successful raid against Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) headquarters, brave U.S. forces were instrumental in killing an estimated 14 AQAP members and capturing important intelligence that will assist the U.S. in preventing terrorism against its citizens and people around the world. Americans are saddened this morning with news that a life of a heroic service member has been taken in our fight against the evil of radical Islamic terrorism.

The sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed forces, and the families they leave behind, are the backbone of the liberty we hold so dear as Americans, united in our pursuit of a safer nation and a freer world. My deepest thoughts and humblest prayers are with the family of this fallen service member. I also pray for a quick and complete recovery for the brave service members who sustained injuries.”

A high level but the anonymous military official has reported that the raid was not targeted at specific people but instead at the goal of site exploitation. It is a well known military term used to describe intelligence gathering actions. Central Command has reported that a aircraft that had a hard landing caused additional injuries. A defense official has said it was a V-22 Osprey.

Unfortunately, it was unable to fly after landing and then destroyed on purpose. They were able to capture information that could provide insight into the planning of future plots against the Islamic State and Al Qaeda. Defense officials also said the President authorized the raid.

Yemeni security provided the identities of those killed in the Bayda province of Yemen where the Navy SEAL died. Their names are, Abdul-Raouf al-Dhahab, Sultan al-Dhahab, and Seif al-Nims. The identity of the SEAL killed has not been released.
