Barack Obama has been openly hostile to law enforcement throughout his entire presidency. So it’s not surprising that he would ignore something like Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. But there’s about to be a new president in the Oval Office, and that means the anti-police attitude will be gone from the White House.
Monday was Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and Donald Trump made sure to show that he stands with law enforcement across the country. He sent out his gratitude and appreciation on Twitter, in a heartfelt message that you would never see from Obama:

And indeed, Obama did nothing to honor police officers yesterday.
Neither did Hillary Clinton:
Top Democrats ignored it also, including John Kerry, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Tim Kaine, Chuck Schumer, and Dianne Feinstein. Republicans, meanwhile, did honor police.
