Without any prior notice of what he decided to do, President Trump just opened the doors and showed everyone what he knows he wasn’t supposed to do in the Oval Office but did it anyway. Call it a perk of being the president to do what you want without getting permission, but one thing is for certain — these walls in the White House have never seen what they are seeing now.
Trump ran his campaign on promising to be a “president of the people” and like all of the other statements he made on his way to the White House, he’s kept them. His latest demonstration of that has been the unprecedented change he just made to the Oval Office which undoubtedly has elites freaking out who definitely don’t have the pull they’re used to with presidents since Trump can’t be bought and does whatever he pleases since he isn’t beholden to the political establishment.
Proving that he only caters to the average man and is concerned with their needs and wants, Trump decided to run the White House like any good business led by a boss who knows how to run a successful team. Announcing that effective immediately, the Oval Office will now have an open-door policy so that any and all of his aides and assistants can come to him at any time with questions, ideas, or concerns, according to Politico.
In previous presidencies, especially Bill Clinton’s, where he could have potentially been in a compromising position at any time, only the chief of staff and a small few of the highest-ranking officials would have such a privilege of walking in unannounced. Trump is the first to change that, making himself readily available to more employees of varying ranks. This is of concern to those who like to keep control since “no single person or select group will be able to restrict the information flowing in and out of the White House,” Conservative Tribune reported.
Trump clearly knows what it takes to become successful and that’s listening to the people who work for him and running a partnership, not a dictatorship, which is something that the Democrats definitely can’t comprehend. Also, unlike his predecessor, he has nothing to hide and no secret deals to be made behind closed doors guarded by a “gatekeeper.”
