President-elect Donald Trump is no stranger to photo opportunities, especially in his iconic office in Trump Tower where many big deals and even bigger decisions have been made. However, one shot from inside is glass-walled office recently went viral when people noticed what else was in it.
While there are a number of memories displayed on a gallery wall behind him, there was one item in particular that a lot of people seemed to have a huge issue with. A lot has been accomplished in this particular room of his high-rise building and his growing personal gallery is a great reflection of how far he has come on his way to the White House. The wealthy businessman has been a target for years and is even more so now that he has won the presidential election and some people aren’t happy about it.
Considering that he is a walking target for liberals who will stop at nothing to take him down, space is encased in bulletproof glass designed to look like average windows, but that’s not all people saw.
During a recent interview in his office where he discussed Brexit and his vision for UK/US relations in the future. Before the reporter’s time was up, the President-elect posed for some photos with some special guests who had the honor of meeting with him. One image, in particular, caught several of the framed magazine covers he was featured on, including Playboy magazine he was featured on in 1990. Despite having been on that cover for his great accomplishments, which was written about within the pages, he was slammed for appearing on their cover since many didn’t think it was appropriate.
The cover shows nothing remotely inappropriate and was published in 1990 — years before he planned to run for president. However, that didn’t stop liberals from lashing out at him since they saw an opportunity and took it. “Nice Playboy cover in the shot! Really brings out the colors of the hypocrisy on display,” one Twitter user commented. “Playboy? Seriously? The world already looks at Christian hypocrisy, this won’t help,” another user wrote, according to Opposing Views.
Trump wasn’t recognized by the magazine for anything sexual nor did he pose with porn stars for the shot. A reporter probably interviewed him by phone or in his office for the report — far removed from Playboy headquarters. If nothing else, his inspiring message of success could reach men who needed to hear it. While we don’t condone what else this magazine promotes, the fact that Trump’s interview for it took place 27 years ago can’t be ignored, but liberals love to dig up dirt from deep in the past to make an irrelevant point.
