We’re entering the first season of “America: the reality show,” and the audience is speculating as to who will be part of Trump’s cabinet.
Trump Tweeted out Tuesday night, “Very organized process taking place as I decide on Cabinet and many other positions. I am the only one who knows who the finalists are!” We may not know who the finalists are, but a number of names have been tossed out for possible positions.
Trey Gowdy and Ted Cruz are possible picks for Attorney General. Jeff Sessions could be Secretary of Defense. Ben Carson was floated as a potential HHS Secretary, but he turned down the position. You can read some of the other potential picks here (I didn’t mention their names because many of the individuals aren’t well known in the political sphere).
Regardless of who takes what position, it’s obvious that it’ll at least be a heck of a lot better than Obama’s cabinet. And according to The Political Insider, Sheriff Clarke could be on of those in the Trump White House.
The New York Times is reporting that Trump may choose a prominent African-American to the role of Secretary of Homeland Security.
The choice of a minority should please liberals far and wide.
Just kidding, it’s David Clarke, a staunch conservative and man who kicks a** and takes names when it comes to far-left rioters and radical Islamic terrorists. A perfect choice for American law and order.
The New York Times writes:
Homeland Security Secretary
The hodgepodge agency, formed after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has one key role in the Trump administration: guarding the United States’ borders. If Mr. Trump makes good on his promises of widespread deportations and building walls, this secretary will have to carry them out.
They go on to list Clarke as a possibility to fill the role.
Now that would be awesome.
