Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, just released a new Instagram ad that thoroughly obliterates Hillary Clinton’s last shred of dignity that may have been remaining regarding the Benghazi terror attacks.
The ad features Hillary Clinton in her own words lying about the cause of the attack, saying it was the result of an obscure internet video. Clips of the parents of two of the victims follow that, both explaining that the former Secretary of State told them the same lie.
The caption is simple, yet accurate: “Hillary has bad judgment!”
But the truly chilling portion of the brief ad comes toward the end, when it features Clinton bursting into laughter at a Benghazi hearing while video of the burning consulate plays in the background.
Via the Business Insider:
Donald Trump’s social-media accounts posted a new attack ad targeting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.
The attacks, which killed four Americans — including Chris Stevens, the US ambassador to Libya — have become a focal point for Clinton’s critics on the right.
Trump’s ad contained one scene that featured footage of Clinton laughing, cut over shots of a US diplomatic compound burning in the background.
Clinton insists she never told the families that a YouTube video was the cause of the Benghazi attacks, but that assertion falls apart for three reasons:
The video above shows her telling the world it was due to a video, so why wouldn’t she have said it privately to the families of the victims?
Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods and who is featured in the ad above, released handwritten notes from his meeting with Clinton that quote her as saying “We are going to have the filmmaker arrested who was responsible for the death of your son.”
She’s a chronic, freaking liar.
Some background on the laughing episode during the Benghazi hearing. Clinton was asked by Republican congresswoman Martha Roby if she was at home by herself on the night of the Benghazi attack, and for some reason responded with her trademark cackle.
Roby scolded, “I don’t know why that’s funny.”
Neither do we.
Failing to provide security for the consulate, abandoning the four Americans who were killed, then lying about what happened? That’s not funny, period.
