A resident of Munich, Germany is being charged with libel after he insulted shooter Ali David Sonboly when he was carrying out a vicious attack on a shopping mall that left 9 people dead. Thomas Salbey is the man accused of insulting the shooter and the video of him insulting Sonboly went viral shortly after.

Sonboly began his attack by shooting adults and children at a McDonald’s.

Many praised Salbey for standing up to Sonboly who had pointed the gun in his direction and attempted to shoot him, but a spokesman for the Munich prosecutor confirmed the libel charges.

The preliminary investigations indicate that Salbey’s diatribe against the shooter had no affect on the timeline of events that day. Mr. Weinzierl, the prosecutor said the charges will likely include claims of insults to the detriment of the dead.

A court review will likely be completed in no time. Sonboly took shelter in a car park which was located above the mall during the shooting. After the shooter gunned down nine people and severely injured sixteen others, Salbey threw a bottle at the shooter to try and stall his violence.

The two men profusely argued while Salbey threw the word “wanker” around and asked “what the fuck you think you’re doing?” Sonboly said, “Because of you I was bullied for 7 years and now I have to buy a gun to shoot you.” Salbey retorted back, “A gun? Fuck off”.

The shooter ended up committing suicide and turning the gun on himself. Salbey will likely have to pay a fine. This issue has inflamed tensions in Germany. Over 2,000 people appeared in Dresden this past Monday night to march on behalf of the Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West (PEGIDA) movement.

Protesters were unhappy and held German flags and posters that read “No more solidarity – it is Bullsh*t!”, “Kick throat cutting terrorists and Islamist crowd out of Germany!”, and “Merkel Must Go!”

This man should be praised a hero. Not charged with a crime.
