A video has surfaced of Amedy Coulibaly, one of the Islamic terrorists who carried out the attacks that plagued Paris last week.
In the video, he pledges allegiance to the Islamic state and makes an effort to defend the acts of terrorism against police, the kosher market, and Charlie Hebdo. Speaking directly to the camera, adorned in a bullet proof vest and brandishing a firearm,
Coulibaly also detailed the various aspects of the terrorists’ plans, such as financing and compartmentalization of tactics:
“The brothers of our team divided into two. They did Charlie Hebdo and me, I also went out against the police a bit. So, there you go. We have done things a bit together, a bit separately, it was more for… for more impact. I helped with his project by giving him a few thousand euros so he could buy what he had to buy.
“What we are doing is completely legitimate, given what they are doing. It’s been justly deserved for a long time. You attack the caliphate, you attack the Islamic State, we are attacking you. One can’t attack and get nothing in return.”
The video has been verified as legitimate by the SITE Intelligence Group as well as by a “former drug dealing associate of Coulibaly’s.”
Despite Coulibaly’s boasts, the terrorists were unable to browbeat the western world into radical Islamic submission.
Charlie Hebdo released over one million copies of their latest issue which featured the prophet Mohammed on the cover.
