This will come as a surprise to no one… seriously. A student named Andrew Spieles at James Madison University and the “Lead Organizer” for HarrisonburgVOTES has confessed to re-registering voters for the upcoming election. Unfortunately for this kid, they are all deceased.
Spiele was caught when he registered a formerly living WWII veteran… a clerk recognized the name. Relatives of a deceased man received a note congratulating him for registering, Rockingham County Commonwealth’s Attorney Marsha Garst said Thursday. “His family members were very distraught,” said Garst, who confirmed the existence of the FBI and police investigation but said she could provide few details because the case is ongoing.
Unsurprisingly as well, the web site for HarrisonburgVOTES no longer exists. Go figure. Spieles confessed to fraud and has been charged. The 19 applications were submitted through HarrisonburgVOTES, which is run by Joe Fitzgerald, a prominent local Democrat.
Fitzgerald is chairman of his congressional district’s Democratic Committee. The site had a stated goal of registering 25,000 voters. I have no idea how many are zombie voters. The FBI might want to look into that.
From Zero Hedge:
Just yesterday we wrote about an FBI investigation into potential voter fraud in the critical swing state of Virginia after it was revealed that 19 dead people had recently been re-registered to vote (see “FBI Investigating More Dead People Voting In The Key Swing State Of Virginia“). While theWashington Post caught wind of the investigation, it was not known who was behind the operation…until now.
Meet, Andrew Spieles, a student at James Madison University, and apparently “Lead Organizer” forHarrisonburgVOTES. According to the Daily News-Record, Spieles confessed to re-registering 19 deceased Virginians to vote in the 2016 election cycle.
While this should come as a surprise to precisely 0 people, Spieles just happens to be Democratwho, accorded to a deleted FaceBook post, apparently recently ran for Caucus Chair of the Virginia Young Democrats.
It’s too bad really, sounds like Spieles had all the right “special talents” required to be very successful politician…he just forgot the most important first rule: “Don’t get caught.”
Without any hesitation and in typical Democratic fashion, Fitzgerald threw Spieles to the wolves. He says they had no idea what he was doing and that they fired him as soon as they found out. Sure, we believe you. I suppose that is why the site is gone. I’m betting Spieles isn’t the only one to go down for this. It’s probably just the tip of the iceberg there in Virginia.
Virginia has voting problems it would seem… the dead are rising to vote alongside felons. Such diversity.
