Lawyers are well aware that you’re never supposed to ask a question you don’t know the answer too. Those in the media? Not so much.
MSNBC made the mistake of asking a group of young women whether or not they felt “connected” to Hillary Clinton. Does anyone in the world feel “connected” to her? Let’s get real – nobody likes Hillary. Her “supporters” don’t even like her – they just dislike Donald Trump more. If his sexual exploits are any indicator, even her husband doesn’t like her.
So how do you think the young women MSNBC was questioning responded? Exactly as you’d think. As Fury News reported:
During MSNBC’s pre-vice presidential debate coverage on Tuesday, the host asked some college women in the crowd if they felt connected to Hillary Clinton. The response she received was priceless.
MSNBC host, Stephanie Ruhle, was interviewing Hillary Clinton supporter and former Governor Jennifer Granholm (D-MI). She turned to the crowd of young people behind her and asked “So Hillary Clinton as a candidate, do you feel connected to her? I want to ask the woman in the room.” The women immediately and defiantly yelled back, “No!”
The answer should have been expected considering the growing anti-Clinton sentiment among young voters. Following the oddly successful Bernie Sanders campaign, Millennials are feeling misrepresented by the Democratic presidential nominee after the now infamous “basement dweller” comment. In addition to this, they were swindled out of their presidential pick and their energetic political awakening has been silenced by the mainstream media.
Millennials have been a group known for leaning Left by a large margin, but that doesn’t mean they’re thrilled about Hillary Clinton. In fact, the overwhelming majority of millennials rallied their support behind Bernie Sanders during the Democrat primary. While there was a “Never Trump” crowd on the Right, and a “Bernie or Bust” crowd on the Left, the Never Trumpers changed and consolidated their support behind Trump as the other Republican candidates dropped out one by one.
That wasn’t the case with Bernie’s supporters. Throughout his candidacy, polls showed up to a third of his supporters would defect for Trump had he not been the nominee (and as we obviously know, he isn’t).
Honestly, even though many of the women in the video undoubtedly lean Left, it gives me some hope that they aren’t voting for Hillary just because she’s a woman. We all remember that many voter for Obama simply so they could make history in electing the first black President (and they also made history in electing the worst President), and we all know how that worked out.
Hillary Clinton has promised to continue the legacy of Obama, and thank God even our millennials aren’t dumb enough to want that.
