(via SacBee) Two months ago, Stone, 23, and Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler, boyhood friends from Sacramento, thwarted a terrorist attack when they tackled and subdued an armed man on a Paris-bound train.
The would-be terrorist was armed with an AK-47, a Luger pistol and a box cutter. Stone suffered cuts to the neck and a deep wound on a thumb in that incident. The three were lauded in France and in Washington, D.C.
Last week, on October 7th Spencer Stone was stabbed in Sacramento, and the suspects fled the scene in a four door sedan.
Currently there is a $1000 reward being offered by the Sacramento Police Department, which we feel is completely unjust due to the fact that Airman Stone thwarted a terror attack in Paris which saved many lives.
We feel that by raising the reward money to $50,000 that it will entice more people to talk, $1000 certainly won’t be worth it to anyone. It’s just a matter of risk versus reward.
Airman Stone is a hero, he saved countless lives just a few months ago. We owe it to him to get these criminals off the street and get them charged with attempted murder.
After we reach our goal, the money will be handed over to the Sacramento Police Department’s Crime Alert http://www.crimealert.org who will take full control over the release of the funds.
