Whoopi Goldberg Honestly Thinks She Is More Qualified To Be President Than Donald Trump (VIDEO)

Isn’t it the best when clueless celebrities tell the public their opinion? They seem to think that because we enjoy them in movies, we can to hear their political “wisdom” (which is more often than not, anything but enlightening). Take the ladies of “The View” as an example. With the exception of panelist Jedediah Bila (who used to work at Fox News), the panel is packed with actors who don’t know a single thing about politics, but comment on it all day.

Let’s take a look at Whoopi Goldberg, whose political experience includes her roles in “Ghost” and “Sister Act.” In other words: nothing. Last week she was under fire for bizarrely comparing the right to celebrate Christmas to the right to have an abortion, and now some comments of her about The Donald are turning heads.

As the Daily Caller reports:

On Monday’s episode of “The View,” Jedediah Bila told Goldberg that there are people “clamoring” for her to run for president because she “talks common sense.”

“Here’s the difference,” Goldberg said. “When I speak, at least you know that I’ve actually looked stuff up, so people think that I might be more aware. People know that I’ve had a wide variety of lives, so they think I might know some stuff.”

“But when you have someone who doesn’t seem to do the homework, who doesn’t seem to have any idea how things actually run — when you bring up Hillary, I can only think to myself she may not have been the best candidate for people, but I know she knew what she was doing.”

If we’re to accept the premise that Trump isn’t “aware,” perhaps it’s because he was more focused on building a business empire than current events during most of his life. But I’ll have to (dis)respectfully disagree. She’s made no shortage of crazy comments herself, like that “there have been a lot of horrifying, there have been a lot of monster Christians. Hitler was a Christian.”

And she has defended some interesting figures over the years….
