Conspiracy theorists are going to love this one.
Just over a month ago DNC staffer Seth Rich was attacked in the nation’s capitol. D.C. police say they still have no clues or leads in what they say was a random killing, likely part of a burglary attempt. But while Rich was beaten, shot and killed, he wasn’t robbed. He still had his wallet, watch and phone in his possession when police discovered his body.
And just in the past week, Shawn Lucas, the lead attorney and process server in the fraud case against the DNC filed by Bernie Sanders supporters, was found dead in his apartment lats week.
The second death naturally led to conspiracy theories immediately, but not long after, the death of Seth Rich attracted speculation as well. Now, Wikileaks is offering money to find out who killed him.
The group WikiLeaks on Tuesday said that it is offering $20,000 for information leading to a conviction in the case involving the death of a former Democratic National Committee staffer earlier this year.
“ANNOUNCE: WikiLeaks has decided to issue a US $20k reward for information leading to conviction for the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich,” the website tweeted.
And now the dominant conspiracy is that Seth Rich was supplying information to Wikileaks. Julian Assange left it upon to mystery as to whether or not that was a case in the interview you can view below:
