WARNING: FULL GRAPHIC PIC Below…
This past week has been filled with violent video and images of Black Lives Matter protesters vandalizing property and celebrating the massacre of Police Officers. We even have a story of a BLM protester shooting up a police officers home last night. But what is stirring all of this up and turning what is suppose to be peaceful protesting to make a powerful movement into angry and violent rioting? There have been some irresponsible remarks from people we should be looking up to like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Instead of calming the violence they are feeding to it.
Another public figure decided to post a ‘pretty’ picture on his Instagram account to incite even more violence this weekend. Football running back for the Cleveland Browns posted a sick drawing of a police officer being beheaded saying, “They give polices all types of weapons and they continuously choose to kill us.” Here’s the picture he put up knowing he’s a public figure and that people are interested in what he has to say as a leader… what statement do you think he’s making with a picture like this?:
The uproar was so great over his social media post reacting to the death of two black men by police last week that he took the picture down and said he was wrong to put it up.
“It was an extremely poor decision and I apologize for that mistake and for offending people,” Crowell said in a statement released by the team. “My values and beliefs do not match that image.”
Crowell said that he was so “outraged, uposet and saddened’ by the killings that it was just an ’emotional and difficult week” Crowell said that “We have to be better as a society. It’s not about color, it’s about what’s right and wrong. I was very wrong in posting that image. Every single life matters, every death as a result of violence should be treated with equal outrage and penalty.”
I’m sorry, I know that he tells the media that that picture doesn’t represent him… but in order to be the type of person to put up that type of picture you have to think a certain way. I believe that Crowell is a coward and that he truly believes in his initial post but he only recanted because he’s more concerned over losing his big paycheck for inciting violence than actually standing up for his deep beliefs. I don’t know what’s more sick… the fact he’s denied his real belief in the BLM movement for money or the fact that he really believes Police Officers should be beheaded.
