Barack Obama thought he had a great idea, to take thousands of illegal criminals who violated federal law and place them in the town of Lawrenceville, Virginia. However, Barack underestimated the support and the plan blew up in their faces at a local town hall meeting, the resident were furious and outraged with the Presidents plan.
The Obama admin decided to hold the the meeting in a desperate attempt to salvage the plan, however, the good citizens of Lawrenceville were not having any of it
From the Washington Times:
The residents raised concerns about security, disease, impact on overburdened emergency services and tax dollars going to unaccompanied alien children (UACs) instead of local families living in poverty.
“Please take your UACs and relocate them to D.C., where you can keep a very close eye on their welfare and keep them out of our backyard,” said John Zubrod, one in a long line of residents lined up at Brunswick High School to address Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) officials.
The administration organized the community meeting in an attempt to salvage the plan to turn St. Paul’s College, a historically black college that closed last year after losing accreditation, into temporary emergency shelter for about 500 children.
Hey Barack, next time you plan to throw thousands of illegal aliens into a town let the citizens know and maybe even ask them if they want the criminals in their town. Breaking federal law is a crime, stop promoting illegal aliens as if its a fad. They broke the law, and deserve punishment like every other country does to those who violate federal law.[quote_box_center]The plan was halted earlier this week after backlash from community members and local officials, who only learned of the project after the feds signed a lease with the college, about 70 miles south of Richmond.[/quote_box_center]
