Published

on

via Sky News: The Pentagon has said that two US Navy boats are in Iranian custody, though Iran has said the crew will be returned “promptly”.

Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook told the Associated Press they lost contact with the vessels as they moved through the Gulf between Kuwait and Bahrain.

Mr Cook said: “We have been in contact with Iran and have received assurances that the crew and the vessels will be returned promptly.”

Up to 10 US Navy sailors have been detained by Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces, senior US military officials said, after at least one vessel became disabled and drifted into Iranian territorial waters.

The US sailors are being held on Farsi Island, a small island in the Persian Gulf that is home to an Iranian Revolutionary Guard base.

BREAKING!!! McCain’s Wife Just Called TRUMP – It’s Really Bad!

HE DIDN’T EXPECT IT!

Published

on

In an official White House statement we now know President Donald Trump on Friday made a call the wife of Republican Arizona Senator John McCain, Cindy McCain, after getting news that he had been hospitalized this week as he battles one of the deadliest forms of cancers known to man.

McCain who is 81 years old was diagnosed with a highly lethal form of brain cancer in July and on Wednesday his office said he had been admitted to the hospital with complications.

The statement read that Senator McCain was currently receiving treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center for what is considered normal side effects of his ongoing cancer therapy. But that he remains in high spirits and eternally grateful to his physicians for their excellent care they have provided for him since his treatment has begun. In the statement, he also thanked his friends and supporters for their encouragement and good wishes and states that the senator looks forward to returning to work as soon as possible.

McCain’s Republican colleagues expressed high optimism that he will be able to make the vote on the tax overhaul next week since senators must be physically present on the Senate floor to cast votes. Considering this time he will vote with the GOP lets all hope and pray this is true.

MSN Reports:

President Trump: U.S. Economy to ‘Rock’ as GOP Races to Tax Vote

GOP lawmakers posted their sweeping, 503-page bill — with permanent tax cut for U.S. corporations and temporary benefits for individuals — on Friday evening after gaining key votes from two Republican senators who’d threatened to oppose it. Now, with votes planned in the House and Senate by the middle of next week, Trump is closing in on his first major legislative victory.

The bill — hammered out behind closed doors by Republican leaders — would slash the corporate tax rate to 21 percent, the lowest that rate has been since 1939. It would provide across-the-board tax cuts for most individuals, but then wipe them off the books by 2026. Whether to extend them would be up to a future Congress.

Trump’s White House applauded Friday’s developments, which Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders called a major step toward achieving the president’s promises of faster economic growth and “much needed financial relief to all Americans.”

“It’ll be fantastic for the middle-income people and for jobs, most of all,” Trump said on Saturday at the White House before boarding Marine One for Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland. He predicted U.S. economic growth “could go to 4, 5 or even 6 percent, ultimately.”

“We are really going to start to rock,” Trump told reporters.

House leaders plan to hold their vote Tuesday. Timing for the Senate vote was less clear, though Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the chamber would “get this bill done” next week.

Everything You Need to Know About the GOP Tax-Overhaul Plan

Trump and congressional Republicans have repeatedly pitched the tax measure as a boon for the middle class, despite independent analyses of earlier versions that said most of the benefit would go to higher earners. The final bill would provide a larger tax cut for the highest earners by shaving the top individual tax rate to 37 percent from 39.6 percent, a lower level than was proposed in either the House or Senate versions.

“This April 15 filing season — that is the last time you will file under this monstrous, broken tax code,” House Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady said Friday evening. Brady kicked off a remarkably rapid law-making effort on Nov. 2, when he released an initial bill. The final version reflects significant changes — many of them aimed at shoring up GOP votes.

Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, who had announced his opposition to an earlier version of the legislation, switched to “yes” after tax writers changed the bill to broaden the child tax credit’s benefits for working families. Rubio said in a Twitter message that the change “is a solid step toward broader reforms which are both pro-growth and pro-worker.”

‘Major Wins’
Senator Susan Collins, a Maine Republican who hasn’t committed to supporting the final legislation, issued a news release saying she’d secured “major wins” in it, including provisions that would temporarily broaden an individual deduction for medical expenses and broaden the types of state and local taxes that can be deducted below a $10,000 cap.

Collins also seeks approval of separate legislation that would shore up individual health insurance markets — where experts say premiums could rise because the tax bill would repeal the Obamacare individual mandate. The Congressional Budget Office has previously estimated that the change would lead to as many as 13 million fewer Americans having health coverage over a decade.

But the most surprising announcement came from Bob Corker of Tennessee — the only Republican senator who voted against an earlier Senate version of the legislation — when he said that he’d reversed course and would vote “yes.”

Corker’s concern — that the legislation would increase federal deficits — was not addressed in the GOP’s final product. In fact, the Congressional Budget Office estimated on Friday that the legislation would increase deficits by $1.455 trillion over 10 years, an amount that’s slightly higher than the projection for the version Corker opposed earlier this month.

‘Disappointing’ on Deficit
“This is a bad day to be a deficit hawk,” said Steve Ellis, vice president of Taxpayers for Common Sense. “While Senator Corker’s decision is disappointing, the entire Republican conference should be against this deficit-financed tax cut,” Ellis said.

McConnell himself had cited deficit concerns earlier this year in discussing tax legislation. “It will have to be revenue-neutral,” he said in an interview with Bloomberg News. “We have a $21 trillion debt.”

By changing his position, Corker, who’s exchanged bitter remarks with Trump over the president’s personal style, cleared the way for the president’s first real policy victory on Capitol Hill.

Whether it will constitute a political victory remains to be seen. Public opinion polls have shown that earlier versions of the bill were unpopular, but Trump administration officials and GOP leaders predict the tax cuts, once finalized, will gain favor in 2018, ahead of congressional elections.

Democrats — all of whom voted against earlier versions of the legislation in both chambers — have decried the rapid, largely secretive process that produced the bill.

“This monstrosity is a bill that only Donald Trump and Republicans, who have accomplished next to nothing in this Congress, could love,” said Representative Lloyd Doggett, a Texas Democrat who serves on the tax-writing Ways and Means panel. “It will not grow our economy, it only burdens us with an immense amount of debt.”

On Wednesday, Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen offered only a lukewarm endorsement of the legislation’s effect on the national economy. “It’s not a gigantic increase in growth,” Yellen said during a news conference.

I am very aware most people on the right don’t agree nor hold Senator McCain in very high regards, in fact, neither do I. But he is still a human being that’s suffering and he deserves our prayers and well wishes at a time that’s so tragic for him and his family. Let’s also hope and pray there comes a day we will never have to see another soul lost to Cancer and its ravishing treatment.

Please share in support of Senator John McCain….

BREAKING: Military On HIGH ALERT After Who Was Spotted Off On Florida’s Coast! It’s WAR!

THEY DIDN’T LISTEN!

Published

on

After months of threats of America entering into World War III following repeat tests and provocations of war by North Korea’s despot dictator, Kim Jong-un, a horrifying discovery was just found right off Florida’s coast. For the second time this year, we’re seeing something that hasn’t happened since the Cold War, the first being Hawaii preparing for an attack, and now things have definitely gotten worse.

Ever since President Trump launched 59 Tomahawk missiles at Syria almost a year ago, tensions have been on the rise between the United States, North Korea, and Russia. Now one of these countries appears to be planning an attack on our soil after a national security alert was sparked. The Daily Mail reports that military personnel are now on high alert after multiple spy ships were spotted off Florida’s coast. Top officials are extremely concerned that this foreign vessel belongs to the Russians.

Fox News reports:

The Russian spy ship first spotted near American waters last year is making its way back in the direction of the U.S., Fox News confirmed on Thursday.

The Victor Leonov is still in the Caribbean, according to officials, but heading north off the coast of Florida, home to a U.S. Navy base located in North Florida, east of Jacksonville.

The ship could be off the Florida coast by Friday if the ship maintains present course and speed, according to officials.

There is also a ballistic missile submarine base located in southern Georgia known as Kings Bay, which is another likely destination for the spy ship to loiter and watch U.S. “boomers” — as the ballistic missile subs are called — enter and leave port.

The Washington Free Beacon was the first to report on this story.

Fox News previously reported that last year, during a White House press conference, President Donald Trump weighed in on the story first reported by Fox News.

“Hey, the greatest thing I could do is shoot that ship that’s 30 miles offshore right out of the water,” Trump said. “Everyone in this country is going to say, ‘Oh, it’s so great.’ That’s not great. That’s not great. I would love to be able to get along with Russia.”

Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., said in a tweet the day before Trump’s comments in February 2017 that Russia was trying to “expand influence.”

“Russia is acting like it has a permission slip to expand influence, test limits of reach.,” Murphy wrote. “Questions are obvious: does it, and if so, why?”

The Russian spy ship Viktor Leonov in 2014.

Putin has been taunting the idea of threatening world peace instead of helping it, as the tensions rise with North Korea and he competes for power and negative attention with Kim Jong-un. This moves also comes on the heels of major action being taken again uncooperative nations at the United Nations.

President Donald Trump has given one of the best Christmas gifts the American People have ever gotten, and once again kept another one of his many promises. On Christmas Eve, the US ambassador to the United Nations, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley announced that President Trump has given the order to cut its 2018 contribution to the United Nations by $285 million, that’s a cut of nearly 25 percent and a great start in the plan to fully defund the Anti-Semitic and Anti-American United Nations.

The Washington Free Beacon explains why this is of specific concern to our military:

Norfolk is the location of the Navy’s major East Coast naval base and New London is also a major submarine base near Groton.

A second official said the AGI ship, for auxiliary, general intelligence, is being tracked by the Navy and appears similar to previous Russian operations in this region.

“What makes it noteworthy is the increase of Russian naval activity worldwide,” this official said. “It makes us pay close attention, not to the tactics, but to how this fits into overall Russian naval behavior.”

The Leonov deployment also is another example of Russia’s increase maritime competition with the United States, “this time in our backyard,” the second officials said.

“Most assume competition will be seen and felt far from home,” he said. “This is another reminder that we are an island nation subject to naval competition right off our shores.”

Putin seems intent on causing turmoil and has been taunting our president with these calculated moves since April when he did something similar in response to Trump bombing Syria after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad decided to gas his people.

In April, Putin tried to block America from attacking by positioning his military in front of ours and attempting to grandstand the U.S., saying we have to go through them to get to Syria. In a strange coincidence, yesterday’s airstrike was exactly 100 years to the day of U.S. entering into World War I. After Putin’s latest move, this day could also bring about the third World War depending on what strategy is employed next.

As Russia moves their warships into place and promises to create an air defense system for Syria, they have forgotten one key item. There is a new sheriff in town, and the snowflakes have gone home. Russia’s archaic military is no match for General Mattis’s current military muscle. Our ships and war plans are light years beyond the Russian counterpart. So rattle your saber, Putin, the real world superpower just returned.

BREAKING: Trump Just Did It Right Before Massive Women’s March This Weekend! Hell Yeah!

Published

on

It’s that “special” time of year when liberal women and their emasculated male supporters gather together in hoards and flood the streets across the country in ridiculous pink hats. Despite saying they’re “empowered” by taking their “rights” back and screaming for free birth control, the Women’s March is really just an army of victims wanting to scream and accomplish nothing. It’s their hate for our supposedly misogynistic president that they’re putting on display, while ignoring the droves of liberal men this year who have been exposed as the true groping perverts.

Now, just hours before this embarrassing nonsense of pink hats fills the streets in a city near you, the nemesis of the movement, President Trump himself, has just ended it for all of them in a move he made. While they continually tout Trump as a misogynist and anti-woman in everything he does, they reap the benefits of what he has actually done for them already that Barack Obama never did, and they are currently benefitting from it as they march.

Conservative Tribune reports:

One of the many unfounded criticisms lodged against President Donald Trump by his liberal haters is that he is some sort of sexist misogynist that mistreats and looks down upon successful women.

Of course, anyone who knows or has been following Trump for any amount of time — and who has a bit of intellectual honesty — understands that such a smear couldn’t be further from the truth.

The reality of the situation, as laid out in detail in an op-ed for The Hill by GOP strategist Jen Kerns, is that Trump actually has more women at senior levels in various parts of his administration than any of his recent predecessors, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

Also, it is worth noting that several of those women are minorities or descended from immigrants to America.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of the liberal media has decided not to report on that fact in favor of perpetuating the narrative that Trump hates women, minorities and immigrants.

It’s also of note that Trump has more females on his staff than any president before him and his campaign manager at the end of his election was a woman, who has received endless insults from the left. They want to talk about rights and respect, but trash the man who grants both the women in this country far more than his predecessor. So, it’s not about what they say, it’s about what they want which is free stuff and negative attention on Trump. Facts prove this.

On the other side of the spectrum, is a separate march the same weekend that women are getting involved in and is an actual worthy counter cause with a completely different message of empowerment. If a woman wants to really march for her rights and prove that she has a choice, this is the event she can be involved in to really make a positive difference and not a divisive one.

National Review reports:

This Sunday, hundreds of thousands of women across the country will storm the streets in the second annual March for Women. Last year, the first Women’s March took place the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration, in a display of wrath against the new Republican administration. This year’s march promises much of the same sentiment. But all people who truly want to empower American women should turn their attention elsewhere, to an event that receives much less media acclaim: the March for Life, which will mark its 45th anniversary this morning on the National Mall.

It is this march, not the Women’s, that presents a unified, pro-woman message, instead of a narrow agenda driven by identity politics. The March for Women, in spite of its title, is defined not by what it stands for but by what it stands against — more specifically, who it’s against. It’s a direct response to the fact that millions of Americans elected Trump, and these women and their male allies are driven by animus against him, whom they view as the leader of an oppressive system that robs women of rights.

Maybe they’re correct, maybe not.

But a movement fueled primarily by what it’s against is not a movement that will last. The problems they lament existed long before Donald Trump, and yet there were no pink-knitted p***y hats marching en masse until his election. And while their concerns will outlast Trump, too, the Women’s March has already proven itself to be just another means by which the Left expresses the rage of the current moment. Its leadership and platform discourage broad cultural support. And, just one year into its existence, its internal fractures are already showing.

It’s time that women really take womanhood back and we have our president to thank for making that even possible. He’s recognizing talent, intelligence, and ability, in a person as to who to select for professional positions and not just their gender. Isn’t this what feminists say they want? It’s what they have now that they didn’t have before but they’re too busy protesting without a cause to see it.
