Civil Rights Group Says Park Rangers’ Uniforms Are ‘Threatening’ To Latinos For ABSURD Reason

A coalition of lawmakers and civil rights groups has a message for the National Park Service: your uniforms and vehicles are “very threatening” to Latinos.

A coalition of lawmakers and civil rights groups has a message for the National Park Service: your uniforms and vehicles are “very threatening” to Latinos.

Maite Arce of the Hispanic Access Foundation delivered the “really tough” message during a press conference on Thursday:

“It’s such a shame that something as simple as the uniform and it’s similarity to the border patrol’s uniform — in the coloring — could be very threatening to certain segments of the Latino population. So a discussion about that is going to be really tough.”

The coalition made multiple recommendations to the Park Service, including:

Assess the cultural implications of existing agency uniforms, offices, signage, and other facilities. For example, the Park Service law-enforcement vehicles look like those used by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and uniforms have law enforcement connotations, both of which present a significant impediment to engaging all Americans.

Review names of sites throughout system for cultural bias. Some may require comprehensive name changes to reflect a broader and more inclusive history.

The coalition is asking President Obama to issue an executive order directing the Department of Interior and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to “adopt guiding priorities for a more inclusive approach to National Parks.”

Trump Sending Deadly Convoy After What NK’s Sick Dictator Was Just Spotted Doing On 8,300Ft Sacred Mountain

Fat boy isn’t going to like this!

Published

on

Sometimes when people say “we” they mean it symbolically; like when a couple says “we’re pregnant” or when the CEO of a company says “we have designed a better (fill in the blank) usually they aren’t getting their hands dirty, and people know it. There’s general, communal terminology, and then there’s just trying to make yourself look better at someone else’s expense.

In the case of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, it seems to be a combination of the latter and good old-fashioned lying. Jong-un has decided to risk the lives of all 25 million North Korean souls under his care, as well as all the Americans he hopes to take out in the crossfire and pick a fight with the United States. Jong-un’s insistence on continuing his nuclear missile tests, despite every diplomatic strategy to stop him, is a course of action that is likely to end in fatalities for the North Koreans.

President Trump has tried time and again to reach out via diplomacy, but the petty dictator of North Korea continues his standoff, growing more and more aggressive and his propaganda campaign has gotten more and ridiculous as time went on. Daily Mail reports of his most recent exploits and how transparent his lies are. Jong-un, who is not known for his athletic ability, apparently is claiming to have scaled an 8,300-foot mountain, all without so much as breaking a sweat:

“He is the chubby dictator who ‘learnt to drive at the age of three’ and once bragged of scoring 11 holes in one on his first round of golf.

Now North Korean state media has made another dubious claim about Kim Jong-un’s ‘superhuman powers’ after insisting the overweight tyrant had climbed an 8,000ft mountain.

Pyongyang media said the 33-year-old had managed to scale Mount Paektu – a sacred spot for North Koreans – after walking ‘through thick snow’ to reach the summit.

But pictures show Kim wandering around on the snow-capped mountain with hardly a bead of sweat and wearing spotless and shiny shoes.”

While all of this might seem a bit ridiculous to us, it all fits in perfectly with the carefully crafted image that Jong-un attempts to project to the rest of the world. One of the saddest things about Jong-un thinking that he can push this off on the world (I mean other than the possibility that he is planning to sacrifice millions of lives at the altar of his “short man syndrome“) is the fact that no one is able to talk to him and explain how crazy he seems.

He obviously doesn’t understand how sports work, and no one is willing to stand up and tell the emperor that in his own way, he has no clothes. Probably because his “off with their heads” kind of response to criticism has put a damper on the opinions of others. Defectors from North Koreas talk of growing up in a world where they believe that the ruling family can even hear the thoughts of those who would speak against the royal family.

Here’s more from our source about the details of not only Jong-un’s impressive “hike” but his continued efforts to wipe the United States off the map:

“Rodong Sinmun reported how Kim’s ‘eyes reflected the strong beams of the gifted great person seeing in the majestic spirit of Mount Paektu the appearance of a powerful socialist nation which dynamically advances full of vigour without vacillation at any raving dirty wind on the planet.’

Mount Paektu has been decreed as the ‘sacred’ birthplace of the secretive state’s first dictator, Kim’s grandfather.

Pictures released by the regime show Kim in the snow on North Korea’s border with China, which the regime rewrote history to claim was [the] birthplace of Kim Il-Sung, the Communist who ruled from after the Second World War until 1994.

He was in fact born in the Soviet Union, but the mountain, has long been integral to the country’s identity.

It is reputedly the birthplace of the earliest Korean leader ever recorded, Dangun, who according to legend founded the early kingdom of Gojoseon in 2333BC.

The mountain is believed to be the site of the deadliest volcano eruption in history and there are fears it may erupt again as a result of North Korea’s nuclear weapons testing.

A thousand years ago it exploded so violently that ash fell as far away as northern Japan.

Last month Bruce Bennett, a senior defense analyst at the Rand Corporation, warned one of the nuclear weapon tests carried out by North Korea could have a catastrophic effect.

North Korea, formally called the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), last week tested its most powerful intercontinental ballistic missile, saying the device could reach all of the United States.

Two U.S. B-1B heavy bombers joined large-scale combat drills over South Korea on Thursday amid warnings from North Korea that the exercises and U.S. threats have made the outbreak of war ‘an established fact.’

The annual U.S.-South Korean ‘Vigilant Ace’ exercises feature 230 aircraft, including some of the most advanced U.S. stealth warplanes.

North Korea’s foreign ministry blamed the drills and ‘confrontational warmongering’ by U.S. officials for making war inevitable.

U.S. national security adviser H.R. McMaster said at the weekend the possibility of war was ‘increasing every day.’

He said Trump was prepared to take action against North Korea but was working to convince China, Russia and others to do more to press Pyongyang to get it to give up its weapons programs.

U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham urged the Pentagon on Sunday to start moving U.S. military dependants out of South Korea, saying conflict with North Korea was getting close.

The Pentagon said it has ‘no intent’ to move out any dependants.

Joseph Yun, the U.S. special representative for North Korea policy, will travel to Japan and Thailand next week to meet government officials ‘to discuss ways to strengthen the pressure campaign following the DPRK latest ballistic missile test,’ the State Department.

‘The United States looks forward to continuing its partnership with both these nations so that the DPRK will return to credible talks on denuclearization,’ it added.

But Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says he believes the chances of dialogue to resolve the tensions over North Korea’s nuclear weapons program are low.

Lavrov was speaking Friday while attending an OSCE ministerial summit in Vienna.

He said ‘the North Koreans have told us more than once that they need security guarantees, especially in the situation when Washington is trying to withdraw from the agreements on the Iranian nuclear programme’.

Trump Had ENOUGH! Just Signed a 5-Year Ban….This is HUGE!

It’s happening!

Published

on

President Trump has been in office for less than a year, and he is more determined than ever to make sure his agenda to make America great again does not fail. After the Supreme Court ruled that President Trump’s travel ban was indeed constitutional, he is not wasting any more time and pushing through more initiatives to strengthen our country. Over this past weekend, Trump took his presidential pen and signed an executive order to help restore sincerity and honesty in Washington, which has the left screaming foul.

Now, this is how you drain the swamp.

President Trump is making good on his campaign promises, and the left cannot stand it.

First, Trump scored a significant win when the Supreme Court reinstated the travel ban and then shortly after that he officially recognized Jeresulam as the capital of Israel, which had leftists melting like snowflakes in July. As these fragile liberals are still recovering from a massive dose of #MAGA, Trump used that momentum to sign into action another executive order to drain the swamp.

In another effort to keep more of his campaign promises, Trump ended backroom deals and put government employees on notice in his latest executive order.

President Donald Trump fulfilled an essential portion of his pledge to “drain the swamp” in Washington, by banning administration officials from ever lobbying the U.S. on behalf of a foreign government and imposing a separate five-year ban on all lobbying activities.

Trump has said individuals who want to aid him in his mission to “Make America Great Again” should focus on the jobs they will be doing to help the American people, and not to be thinking ahead to their future income they could rake in by peddling their influence after serving in the government.

This new ban that Trump signed supersedes the one that Barack Obama signed in 2009, that banned anyone from lobbying the government for a period of two years after leaving the government. Though what makes Trump’s ban better than Obama’s is that the new ban closes up all the “loopholes” that the former ban allowed.

Soon after making that monumental move, Trump went on to sign two more executive orders that show just how serious Trump is about making our country great again.

Here is more from Breitbart:

President Donald J. Trump signed three new executive actions on Saturday afternoon, including a five-year lobbying ban, reorganization of the National Security Council, and a plan to defeat the Islamic State.

Regarding the lobbying ban, Trump said:

So this is a five-year lobbying ban, and this is all of the people — most of the people standing behind me will not be able to go to work.

It’s a two-year ban now and it’s got full of loopholes and this is a five-year ban. So you have one last chance to get out. Good, I had a feeling you were going to say that.

This was something, the five-year ban, that I have been taking a lot about on the campaign trail.

Ahead of the signing, a senior administration official indicated that the lobbying ban included not only a five-year ban on administration officials but a lifetime ban on administration officials lobbying for a foreign country.

After signing the document to reorganize the National Security Council, the President said, “This is the organization of the National Security Council and the Homeland Security Council, you know pretty much what it represents, it represents a lot, and also a lot of efficiency and I think a lot of additional safety. People have been talking about this for a long time, like many years.”

President Trump signed the ISIS plan, after which he said, “This is the plan to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, in other words, ISIS. I think it’s going to be very successful. That’s big stuff.”

The White House senior administration official also said ahead of the signing that the executive action regarding ISIS would give military leaders 30 days to compile and present a report to the President on a strategy to defeat ISIS.

The President responded to questions about Friday’s executive order on immigration after signing each of the three executive actions, stating, “It’s not a Muslim ban, but we were totally prepared. It’s working out very nicely. You see it at the airports, you see it all over.”

President Trump is doing precisely what the American people sent him to Washington D.C. to do, and that is to bring integrity back to the government. Under the Obama administration, everything was sold off to the highest bidder which did not serve the American people, but only helped fatten the lobbyist’s pocketbooks, and that is about to end.

Thank you, President Trump, for putting the American people first and doing your best to make America great again!

24Hrs After Dem Leader Arrested Outside Capitol His Scandalous Wife Busted In Bigger Crime – Prison Will Be HARSH

Published

on

Washington has been pounded with wave after wave of scandal lately. From the sexual misconduct of far more politicians than we would have liked to admit, to the revelation of mishandling of funds to cover up that misconduct, the American people have become increasingly disillusioned with our supposed public servants.

Being a lawmaker requires that the people of your constituency put a lot of trust in you to not only look out for their best interest in political votes but just that they’re doing what they say they will do with the funds that you give them to run for reelection. When someone is a veteran political insider, they often gather up faithful followers who donate to them loyally every single year. It’s difficult to think of those people putting their hard earned dollars to those who would abuse them, but that’s just what’s happening.

Democratic Representative Luis Gutierrez and his wife Soraida, are both being investigated for fraud when the details of their usage of campaign funds came out. The Washington Free Beacon reports that Gutierrez has not only been arrested but won’t be seeking re-election after these facts came out:

“Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez (Ill.), who announced last week that he will not seek reelection after spending 24 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, will no longer be able to pay his wife hundreds of thousands of dollars from campaign funds once he officially departs from Congress.

Soraida Gutierrez, his wife, has collected more than $430,000 from Gutierrez for Congress, Luis’s campaign committee, since 2010. Soraida is the top recipient of expenditures this year.”

Maybe you’re thinking that Gutierrez and his wife had just fallen on hard times. After all, he was a representative of Illinois and had to travel back and forth from D.C. quite a bit, and how much can they really get paid? Well funny you should ask; every congressman gets paid $174,000 per year and has up to 239 days off, a large portion of its health insurance subsidized, better retirement, free travel, death benefits, free travel to and from D.C., plus $250,000 budget for travel and office expenses, paid for entirely by taxpayers. That’s not to mention $900,000 we pay them for their staff and other staff related expenses.

I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t exactly seem like a budget that would force a person to pinch pennies. But still, on top of that the couple has taken hundreds of thousands in donates from their loyal supporters to use for their own personal gain. Let’s hear a little more about just how much money Soraida was getting for helping with hubby’s campaign:

“Soraida, who was a registered lobbyist in Illinois prior to appearing on the campaign’s payroll, has been listed as the campaign’s office manager, fundraiser, and treasurer for the past seven years.

Gutierrez’s campaign committee has reported $77,838.69 in operating expenditures from the beginning of January to the end of September. Soraida has received seven checks for $6,000 each—or $42,000 total—during this time, meaning that she has collected more than half of his campaign’s disbursements.

The second largest expenditure from Gutierrez’s campaign this year is a $22,000 donation to the Puerto Rican Relief Fund, which is not included in the committee’s operating expenditures total, but is rather marked under other disbursements.

Gutierrez has said he is leaving Washington to focus on the rebuilding efforts in Puerto Rico, although some have speculated that the abrupt retirement raises questions about his motives and that he has made a ‘grand inside play,’ Politico reported.

Despite Soraida being paid generously for fundraising services from the campaign, the committee has raised only $2,812.86 in total individual contributions this year. Other campaign committees have added $17,000 in donations to Gutierrez.”

This is not the first time Soraida has been the top recipient of cash from her husband’s campaign.

When Soraida first joined the campaign in 2010, she was paid $44,000 from its war chest. In 2012, Soraida’s payments rose to $93,000. In 2014, Soraida pulled in $110,000. In 2016, she collected $125,856. Soraida was the top recipient of cash from Gutierrez for Congress every election cycle since first appearing on its payroll seven years ago.”

And as if that’s not enough, Soraida isn’t the only one in the family who’s been getting a kickback for helping dear old dad. Apparently, the kiddos are also getting in on the action:

“Gutierrez also paid his two daughters a combined $5,000 for a fundraising project and bookkeeping between 2004 and 2009.

Members of Congress have been allowed to place family on campaign payrolls since a 2001 Federal Election Commission opinion requested by former Democratic Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (Ill.).

After the FEC gave the green light for federal politicians to pay relatives from their committees, Jackson Jr. went on to pay his wife’s firm hundreds of thousands of dollars from his committee.

Jackson and his wife later pleaded guilty to using $750,000 in campaign funds for personal use.

Gutierrez did not return a request for comment on the payments to his wife by press time.”

Maybe someday the second most crooked politician to come out of Illinois will have something to say for himself, but until then he can spend his time as exhibit A as to why the swamp in Washington really does need to be drained. People need to know that when they donate to a campaign, they’re not just paying for a Rolex, they’re actually contributing toward the vital needs of a campaign.
