    The feared Cosa Nostra are desperate to maintain supremacy after African crime gangs arrived with the migrants – and they are engaged in a deadly turf war.

    Immigration to Italy soared by 90 per cent in the first three months of the year. The migrant population in Ballaró, the part of Palermo where the shooting took place, has risen from approximately five to 25 per cent since the migrant crisis began.

    There is widespread concern in Italy that the number of new migrants exceeds the country’s capacity to cope – and the mafia is its biggest and most dangerous critic.

    The mayor of Palermo, Leoluca Orlando said: ‘In the past, when the Mafia was more powerful, it prevented any immigrants from entering the city. Until I was 30 years old, I never saw an African or Asian in Palermo.

    ‘The Mafia has not understood that the city has changed. We are now a city of immigrants, and the Mafia bosses no longer sit in the mayor’s chair.

    The deadly Mafia-migrant war began after African criminal gangs apparently entered the country alongside law-abiding migrants, and started to operate ‘on the Mafia’s doorstep’.

    Mobsters claimed that police were targeting their activities while leaving African gangs alone.

    Then, two weeks ago, an innocent Gambian migrant was shot through the head in a ‘hit’ by a gangster dubbed ‘an animal’. Astonishingly, he survived, but the attack was a brutal example of the violence gripping the island and raises fears it will spin out of control.

    Mayor Orlando said: ‘This Mafia shooting was a tremendous mistake because it turned the city against them. The Mafia needs silence and darkness. It needs people to keep their mouths shut.

    ‘When it does such a brutal act, shooting a young guy, the mayor switches on the lights and the whole city comes after them.’

    Palermo police commissioner Guido Longo added: ‘We are facing acts of unprecedented aggression and bullying [against migrants] with typically Mafioso attitudes. There is a will to impose their rule on the territory.’

    The shooting took place just after 6pm in broad daylight, near the Balleró street market in the centre of the city, where street vendors sell pigs’ heads and gut fish while Mafiosos collect protection money.

    This deprived district, characterised by its ancient, run-down buildings and cobbled streets, is a melting pot of immigrants from numerous countries and tough, working class Sicilians. It also attracts tourists, students, and yuppies.

    Victim Yusapha Susso, 21, had been playing football at a nearby park. According to his attorney, Mr Susso was walking with two friends along Via Maqueda, the main thoroughfare, when an Italian man riding an electric bicycle drove into them from behind ‘intentionally and provocatively’.

    An argument ensued. The Italian told them that he knew he was outnumbered, but ‘soon you will see’. He then allegedly contacted gangland friends and within minutes a group of up to 10 hoodlums arrived in cars, on motorcycles and by foot.

    CCTV footage showed a fight breaking out. Susso managed to beat back his assailants and went to the aid of his friends.

    That was when local mobster Emanuele Rubino, 28, retrieved a handgun from a nearby building, chased Susso into a side street and shot him in the head, it is alleged.

    The bullet passed through Susso’s skull and out the other side, grazing the brain but not damaging it. According to police, the gangster then ‘sauntered off’.

    ‘Rubino walked 100 metres with a pistol in his hand between many people, as if nobody could stop him,’ said Rudolfo Ruperti, head of Palermo police’s Flying Squad. ‘He felt so powerful that he believed he would go unpunished. He has a violent, Mafioso nature.’

    Mr Susso lay in a coma for four days and is now undergoing rehabilitation. Speaking from his hospital bed, he told MailOnline: ‘This won’t change me. My feelings can never change. I want to stay in Italy. Physically I am feeling better, but I am very emotional.

    ‘It was a miracle. My parents are Christian and I’m a believer,’ he said. ‘I’m not feeling angry, I’m just feeling good to have my life. When I go out of the hospital it will be like the first day of my life.’

    Eyewitnesses reported seeing him sat in the road clutching his head. ‘When I went over there I didn’t think he was badly hurt because he was just acting as if he had a headache,’ said a shopkeeper. ‘Then he took his hand away and I saw the blood.’

    At the scene, locals pointed out the bloodstain that remains visible on the road.

    Rubino, who according to the mayor was ‘a mafiosi’, was apparently trying to establish himself as a local boss with the intention of either joining with a bigger Mafia family or setting up a new dynasty.

    He was demanding protection money from immigrant businesses, police sources said, and ‘terrorising’ the local community.

    Mr Ruperti, leading the investigation, said: ‘At the moment Rubino is not a member of any official Mafia clan, but his bullying indicates a clear Mafioso attitude.

    ‘His method is typically Mafioso, as he wants to show with the gun that he commands the territory, and uses the gun for a minor scuffle.

    ‘This is his gravest crime, and he faces 16 years in prison. His criminal record includes armed bank robbery, drug dealing and sex trafficking.’

    Part of his strategy involved preying mercilessly on foreigners, targeting immigrant-owned businesses for protection money.

    Mr Susso’s lawyer Vincenzo Gervasi told MailOnline the attack was part of an effort by Rubino to advertise himself to the bigger Mafia players, for whom the influx of rival African gangs is a grave concern.

    He told police that he was ‘happy to go to prison for 12 years’ if it meant establishing a reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the Sicilian underworld.

    ‘He was a guy with a big personality, a Mafia personality. He wanted to take territory from other Mafia families of Palermo,’ said Gervasi. ‘He was trying to rule Ballaró. This was his plan to win power and have a role within the Mafia world.’

    Unnamed African and Pakistani shopkeepers said that when they heard that the gangster was behind bars they said, ‘finally we are free from him’.

    When Rubino was transported from the police station to prison, members of his family gathered and applauded – an established Mafia tradition in Sicily.

    Rubino, who faces up to 16 years’ jail charged with attempted murder, has a criminal record including convictions for drug dealing, sex trafficking and armed robbery.

    His neighbour Giovanni Zinna, 46, a former social worker who has lived opposite the attacker for 15 years, said: ‘He and his friends have no knowledge of life outside Palermo, so they are obsessed with gaining power in the city.’

    ‘This is their culture. It is the beginning of a war between the Mafia and the migrants. It is going to get worse. I am scared. There will be more migrants, more friction, more attacks. This was the first shooting, but it won’t be the last.’

    Yesterday, the Italian prime minister, Matteo Renzi, wrote a letter to EU officials proposing that it funds ‘migration management’ measures in Africa, to stem the huge flow of the ‘economic migrants’ who are unlikely to be granted asylum.

    ‘One of our aims is to lower levels of migration and reduce tensions in Sicily and Italy as a whole,’ said Andrea Romano, an MP for Italy’s ruling Democratic Party.

    ‘What we see in Sicily is that when the state tries to better organise the migrants, the Mafia reacts. It tries to push people against the state and the migrants, because it wants the situation to remain blurred and disorganised. That allows them to take control.

    ‘Of course the tension is going to rise when migrant number go up. It is unavoidable in the face of such an emergency.

    ‘We want to better organise migration to lower burden on Sicilian citizens and push for our EU partners to share the burden with Italy. We hope that will ease the situation.’

    Trump Just Rained Down Hell On North Korea 7,500 Times Today After Kim Jong-un Put His Finger On Trigger

    With the growing threat from North Korea becoming an ever-growing issue on the minds of Americans, many want to know what the President plans to do about it. Since the majority of us feel a little shaken up and almost like we’re in recovery from a bad relationship with our last Commander-in-Chief, we’re waiting with baited breath to see how this one will handle a crisis.

    Since the threat from North Korea isn’t a new one but was never dealt with, the President is having to make up for lost time to give North Korea a strong show of force. Even though it’s not very appealing to the liberal agenda, the United States military is poised and ready to strike, should North Korea’s dictator decide to follow through on his many threats.

    The tiny dictatorship was given a lot to fear when President Trump made these comments:

    According to Zerohedge, the POTUS isn’t waiting for the storm to come to him; he’s beginning it himself with the 7500 marines he sent to watch North Korea’s front door:

    Just one week after uttering his now-infamous “this is the calm before the storm” statement to the press ahead of a dinner with military leaders, we now learn that President Trump has dispatched a second nuclear aircraft carrier, the USS Theodore Roosevelt, filled with 7,500 marines, to the Korean Peninsula.  Of course, this comes after rumors swirled earlier this week that North Korea is preparing to fire multiple short-range rockets around the opening of the Chinese Communist Party’s twice-a-decade congress on Oct. 18th.”

    No matter how petted, pampered, or dictatorial Kim Jong-un is, he couldn’t possibly have thought that there would be no retaliation to his bold threats against the United States. As a nation, we’ve got a pretty great reputation for winning the fights we get involved in. After all, being one of the world’s superpowers with the greatest fighting force on the planet comes with not only bragging rights but the ability to follow through.

    Here are a few details about the troops that were sent to the region:

    “The USS Theodore Roosevelt, a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, is en route to the western Pacific after leaving San Diego port last week.

    The Roosevelt will focus on maritime security operations in the Pacific and Middle East, the US military announced.

    But the £3.4billion ($4.5billion) warship, known as “the Big Stick”, has been sent to boost US defence on the Korean peninsula, according to South Korean media.

    It is expected to arrive in [the] region in the coming weeks amid fears North Korea is about to test another missile or nuclear weapon.

    Per the following map from Stratfor, the USS Theodore Roosevelt will join the USS Ronald Reagan which is already operating in the region.”

    Anyone who has had any dealings with Marines knows that those folks get things accomplished. Just imagine what 7,500 of them could do if deployed to deal with the threats being leveled at their beloved country.

    And just in case you were worried that this was an empty threat, one Navy Admiral cleared up the state of mind and ability of the forces being sent to North Korea.

    According to a statement from Admiral Steve Koehler, a strike group commander on the ship, the Roosevelt is carrying some 7,500 sailors and marines that are ‘ready as a war fighting force’.

     ‘The US Navy carrier strike group is the most versatile, capable force at sea,’ he said in a statement before the ship’s launch.

    ‘After nearly a year of training and integration exercises, the entire team is ready as a warfighting force and ready to carry out the nation’s tasking.’”

    Many consider this move to be the action that the President was referring to in the video above. There’s little chance that when the President makes a threat, it will be an empty one, but it’s still surprising for those of us who had lost hope in our former military leader to see a strong move this quickly.

    “Of course, as we noted above, this buildup of naval forces in the Pacific follows an ominous warning from the President last week that preceded a dinner with military leaders: ‘You guys know what this represents? Maybe it’s the calm before the storm,’ he said: “It could be the calm… before… the storm.”

    A reporter quickly asked what the storm might be -‘“Is it Iran, ISIS, what’s the storm?’  to which he replied… ‘…you’ll find out.'”

    And find out we did. Anyone who was worried about the safety of our country under Obama can now sleep in peace knowing that the situation is being handled. It may not make everyone happy that the President is matching every threat with a military action of his own, but sometimes you’ve just got to fight fire with fire and they’ll be happy when it stops us from being attacked. They’ll find out.

    Kim Jong-un In Hiding After He Hears Who Is About To Send In ‘DECAPITATION UNIT’ To End Him

    The United States isn’t any stranger to international conflict. In fact, we’ve got a pretty good record for being on the winning side of large scale wars, thanks to a patented blend of diplomacy, an incredible elite fighting force, and a population that unites in times of turmoil and crisis. This information seems to be lost on the North Korean dictator however, as Kim Jong-un hands out threats to the United States and every country that might rally against him.

    It should be noted that the threats and talks of war from North Korea against the United States have been unprovoked and seem to stem from an inner need to gain power by their petulant leader. Kim Jong-un comes from a ruling family that has a long-standing beef with their neighbors, South Korea. It has always been their fondest wish to reunite the two countries, under the Jong-un family reign of course.

    Because of that well-known wish, America isn’t the only one bracing for war with the tiny dictatorship. South Korea is getting armed and ready, and they’ve got a specific mission; they want to cut the head off the beast, literally. The Independent reports about South Korea’s elite force, trained to deal with Kim Jong-un, should the opportunity arise:

    “The last time South Korea is known to have plotted to assassinate the North Korean leadership, nothing went as planned.

    Now, as Kim’s grandson, Kim Jong-un, accelerates his nuclear missile programme, South Korea is again targeting the North’s leadership. A day after North Korea conducted its sixth — and by far most powerful — nuclear test this month, the South Korean defence minister, Song Young-moo, told lawmakers in Seoul that a special forces brigade defence officials described as a “decapitation unit” would be established by the end of the year.

    The unit has not been assigned to literally decapitate North Korean leaders. But that is clearly the menacing message South Korea is trying to send.

    Defence officials said the unit could conduct cross-border raids with retooled helicopters and transport planes that could penetrate North Korea at night.”

    This might be a relatively new threat for the United States to deal with, but South Korea has had the North Koreans in their face and making threats for quite some time. While it’s unfortunate for us that we’re being drawn into the issue, it’s probably seen as a great thing to the South Koreans that some attention is finally on the bullies that lie just to the north of them.

    While it is unconventional for South Korea to be telegraphing their intentions, even that is a strategic move on the part of the threatened country:

    Rarely does a government announce a strategy to assassinate a head of state, but South Korea wants to keep the North on edge and nervous about the consequences of further developing its nuclear arsenal. At the same time, the South’s increasingly aggressive posture is meant to help push North Korea into accepting President Moon Jae-in’s offer of talks.

    While Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has said the United States does not seek leadership change in North Korea, and the South Koreans say the new military tactics are meant to offset the North Korean threat, the capabilities they are building could be used pre-emptively.

    The U.S. was pulled into this looming conflict because of the nuclear development and growing pointed threats from Jong-un. That being said, if this were to bloom into a full on world war, our involvement would be inevitable. The more likely end to this, considering the dire straits that the North Koreans are in, is that they’ll make one flailing effort to attack one of the allied countries, and be literally shot down on the spot.

    It’s sad that it might have to come to that, but if they want to start a war, we are bound to have to finish it for them. The silver lining in all of that being that their people might finally be free if Kim Jong-un is successfully taken out of the picture.

    Moon has vowed to expand the defence budget to 2.9 percent of South Korea’s gross domestic product during his term, from 2.4 percent, or $35.4 billion, as of this year.     In a Twitter post last Tuesday, Trump said, “I am allowing Japan & South Korea to buy a substantially increased amount of highly sophisticated military equipment from the United States.”

    South Korea has now introduced three arms-buildup programmes — Kill Chain; the Korea Air and Missile Defence programme; and the Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation initiative, which includes the decapitation unit.

    Under the Kill Chain programme, South Korea aims to detect impending missile attacks from North Korea and launch pre-emptive strikes.

    North Korea hides missiles in its many underground tunnels. Switching to solid fuel has made some of its missiles easier to transport and faster to launch. In recent years, North Korea also has flight-tested missiles from submarines, which are tougher to detect.

    And the potential consequences of accurate detection are huge.

    Miscalculation could prompt an unwarranted pre-emptive strike, which could start a regional nuclear war. Speaking to a US congressional hearing in June, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph F. Dunford Jr, said, “We will see casualties, unlike anything we’ve seen in 60 or 70 years.”

    Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities are crucial, said Daniel A. Pinkston, a defence expert at the Seoul campus of Troy University. Without those capabilities, “they would be ‘shooting blind’ because the missile units could not identify the targets,” he added.

    Obama’s Trump Obsession Just Reached SICK New Level With What He Was Just Caught Doing in D.C.

    Obama has had an extremely difficult time relinquishing the power he was held as president of the Untied States, as he now spends his time obsessing with ways to take President Trump out with his “shadow government.” As Obama’s antics continue to rage on, now we’re learning that Obama’s malicious plans to destroy the next president began before Trump was even sworn in as the 45th president of the United States.

    Despite Obama’s promise to support the incoming president, Obama’s actions have told a completely different story. Back in July, Obama violated federal law by secretly meeting with South Korean President Moon to discuss “dealing with Trump.” Meeting with foreign diplomats as civilian is a serious violation of the Logan act, and can carry an up to 20 year prison sentence.

    After breaking federal law to subvert a sitting president, Obama has only grown more brazen in his efforts to destroy Trump. Shortly after announcing that he’d be making his political “comeback” this fall, we’re now learning about the outlandish list of instructions that Obama left in the Oval Office for Trump, where he detailed ways that Trump should conduct himself as president. While it’s customary for the out-going president to write a letter to his predecessor, it’s not meant to be a civic’s lesson or policy advice for the in-coming president like Obama’s letter was.

    It’s absolutely ridiculous that Obama, who wiped his backside with the Constitution for the past 8 years, is seriously going to lecture Trump about what’s acceptable behavior for a sitting president. Shortly after Obama’s letter surfaced a few days ago, pissed off Americans took to twitter to publicly call Obama out on his ridiculous ongoing attempts to still act like he’s the president of the Untied States.

    “The Usurper who trampled upon the Constitution, spied upon millions, trying to lecture an opponent who exposed him as such,” one person tweeted.

Bush wrote a nice, short, and personal warm letter where he doesn’t give any advice whatsoever on what to do as far as policy is concerned,” Freedom Daily’s Al Waisman stated.” But Barry just can’t seem to control himself. He just had to go into political issues and suggest that President Trump is an elitist rich guy who has no idea what being a normal person is like.” Obama’s letter read:

    Congratulations on a remarkable run. Millions have placed their hopes in you, and all of us, regardless of party, should hope for expanded prosperity and security during your tenure.

    This is a unique office, without a clear blueprint for success, so I don’t know that any advice from me will be particularly helpful. Still, let me offer a few reflections from the past 8 years.

    It’s absolutely sickening the lengths Obama is going to in order to keep himself in power. In addition to lecturing Trump on how to do his job in this ridiculous letter, Obama has been desperately trying to take over as president following the hurricane, pretending to care about the victims where he tweeted out: “Thank you to all the first responders and people helping each other out. That’s what we do as Americans.”

    Keep in mind this is the same clown who couldn’t be bothered to cut his vacation at Martha’s Vineyard short last August, when the entire state of Louisiana was under water from the catastrophic floods that left 13 Louisianans dead and 40,000 homeless.

    While we hoped this treasonous man would drive off into the sunset on his golf cart, Obama isn’t showing any signs of relinquishing his throne quite yet. And with his vow to make a comeback into politics this fall, we need to closely keep our eye on this clown, as he has endless resources at his disposal to harass and undermine Trump’s presidency.
