Massive Layoffs Just Hit NFL After Veterans Day Fiasco That Isn’t Over Yet And It’s Bad

Published

on

The NFL has not been doing too well since the media sensation surrounding players kneeling for the national anthem. Ratings and players notoriety and support have taken a hit because people are sick and tired of watching others disrespect the flag and the veterans and service members who fought for it. Now ESPN is taking a hit because of it.

After the Thanksgiving holidays, multiple sources have told reporters from Sports Illustrated that ESPN is expected to lay off more than 100 of their staffers. The positions that are being targeted for layoffs are front facing talent on the television end of the business, executives, producers, as well as technology and digital staffers. On-air talent is being considered for a cut because of how much ratings have plummeted as well as viewership. The on-air talent is being held responsible for not keeping people’s attention.

However, ESPN officials have refused to publicly comment to Sports Illustrated. Hiring has continued though, so it appears that layoffs will be considered for older employees who have been with the network longer. A sort of out with the old and in with the new type of deal.

Sports Illustrated reported,

“In Oct. 2015 the company laid off roughly 300 employees, about 4-5% of its workforce—a particularly brutal act of gutting given the long tenures of many of those who were cut. Many of those employees helped build the foundation of ESPN and had given their professional life to the company.

Last April, ESPN eliminated around 100 journalists and on-air personalities. At that time the company said: “A necessary component of managing change involves constantly evaluating how we best utilize all of our resources, and that sometimes involves difficult decisions.” ESPN continues to be impacted by the changing habits of consumers including cord-cutting and cord-nevers (those who have never purchased a cable subscription) as well as the rising costs of sports rights. The network has dropped in households from 100.13 million in 2011 to an estimated 87.5 million households today.

Part of the reason ESPN will conduct the moves in late November/early December, two sources said, is to get employees an additional year in the stock vesting program. Last month Michael McCarthy of Sporting News first noted a round of layoffs were coming to ESPN. If you have endured layoffs at your place of employment, you know how extraordinary awful they are. Multiple ESPN employees in speaking with SI said the atmosphere in Bristol is tense, especially in the SportsCenter division. Asked to characterize how employees are feeling, one longtime on-air anchor offered one word: “Queasy.””

The Free Beacon reported,

“The network has suffered from steep expenditures on broadcasting deals in tandem with a reduced subscriber base, even as it has made a series of public missteps.
One public relations challenge came when “SportsCenter” host Jemele Hill called President Donald Trump a white supremacist on Twitter and then called for a boycott of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ advertisers. ESPN suspended her for twice violating company social media policy, and Trump publicly mockedthe network for its ratings.

Executive decisions have also harmed the network’s image. Examples include the rapid canceling of a partnership with Barstool Sports and the controversial removal of an Asian-American announcer from a University of Virginia football game over his name’s similarity to Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee. Rumors of layoffs surfaced in October, when Sporting News reported that 40 to 60 positions would be eliminated. Even with that modest estimate, sources were saying at the time that the layoffs would affect popular people at all levels. “This time it won’t matter if you’re ‘liked’ or not. It’s not going to be pretty,” one source said.”

The irony of this report coming out a day after Veterans Day cannot be lost on, or forgotten by anyone. NFL ratings through ESPN have been decreasing rapidly and it is in no small part due to the fact that players have been kneeling during the national anthem. Football viewership has a stronghold in middle America and average citizens love America, work hard, and respect this country. They have chosen not to tune in because of it.

The MLB does not have this issue and the NFL would do well to look at the MLB as an example of what to do if they want to remain relevant and making money. Because if they continue on the path they are going their ratings will get worse and their business will flop.

Given that yesterday was Veterans Day this is very good news. People need to be held responsible. And the best part of it all is that these paid athletes and celebrity sports entertainers are being held responsible with their layoffs based purely on the fact that their actions have consequences and nobody wants to watch them anymore.

Share if you agree that there is a correlation between a failing ESPN and players in the NFL kneeling during the national anthem!

One Word Explains SJWs Attempt To Change Our Culture

Chuck Yarling

Published

2017 is definitely the year that social justice warriors (SJWs) have been active in removing Confederate statues and anything else they seem to think should be removed from our sights. Indeed most people are unaware that it actually started in June of 2015 right after the Charleston, S.C., shooting. It was there that Dylan Roof murdered nine African Americans in their church during their service.

Since then, cities across the country began removing monuments and memorials related to the Confederacy on public property. It seemed that these social justice warriors believed these things glorified white supremecy and memorialized a government whose founding principle was the perpetuation and expansion of slavery.

Needless to say these idiots jumped on the Confederate flag too. However, everyone who did so were totally unaware (history-deficient, ill-informed, stupid?) that the flag to which they referred, with the crossed blue banners containing stars was not the Confederate flag but a battle flag of the northern Virginia. Everyone with a little historical knowledge learned that the “real” flag had the “Stars and Bars”. There is a difference, doncha know?

And ever since the Roof killing spree, Confederate stuff has been removed from the sight of mankind to distant places. So what’s going on here? It’s called presentism: (more…)

BREAKING NEWS: Grammy Winner Has SICK FANTASY To MURDER Trump’s Daughter

Published

on

The President’s family has always been open to attacks by people who are willing to go below the belt. Especially when it comes to his wife and children. It is truly disgusting. But the person who has been targeted the most is by far his oldest daughter Ivanka Trump who serves with her husband as an advisor to the President in the White House.

One person who seemingly attacked Ivanka Trump was rapper Eminem. He joined the ranks of entertainers such as Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Baier of the View, a morning talk show, in his attacks on the First Daughter. His recently released album that came out Friday shows exactly what his true feelings about Ivanka really are.

The Conservative Tribune reported,

In a track released on his new album, “Revival,” the now 45-year-old rapper calls Trump “Aryan,” and says it’s “time to bury him, so tell him to prepare to get impeached.” He then continues his lewd, hate-filled lyrics by describing a “murder fantasy” of the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.

“Donald Duck’s on as the Tonka Truck in the yard
But dog how the f*** is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car
Gotta get to the bottom of it to try to solve it
Must go above and beyond, ’cause it’s incumbent upon
Me, ’cause I feel somewhat responsible for the dumb little blonde girl
That motherf****n’ baton twirler that got dumped in the pond”

Ivanka and President Trump weren’t the only members of the family to get a shout out on the record. Melania was next, as he rapped about making a pass at her.

“Ivanka, stiff arm her
While I’m hittin’ on Melania
And this song’s for all ya.”
Real classy, Eminem.

Of course, the entertainment industry is eating all of this up like candy. While the actual music is getting mixed reviews, The 405 calls the Trump bashing “admirable.”
Here’s the grand hypocrisy of all of this, though. In an interview with the New York Times, Eminem takes a play right out of the liberal handbook and describes himself has “tolerant.”

One of the grand pillars of liberal hypocrisy is when liberals claim to be “tolerant,” claim conservatives need to be more tolerant, but will absolutely rip anyone who disagrees with them. So, Eminem, I have a question for you. Why aren’t you more “tolerant” of President’s Trump agenda? If you really are the “tolerant” guy you claim to be, why are you rapping about murdering people you disagree with?

But even more than this, the double standard in the mainstream media is absolutely obvious through this new album. Eminem talks about putting Ivanka’s body in the trunk of his car, but where is the media outrage? There is none. Could you imagine if a country Western singer wrote a song about tossing Sasha or Malia Obama’s body in the trunk of his car? To be fair, it would probably be a truck, but I digress. The despicable words spouted by this rapper are absolutely sickening. Many liberals will try and make the case that this album is just “art,” and that we just don’t understand true art.”

Families of the President have always been considered to be off limits and now should be no different. Yet Democrats and liberals have attacked Barron and Ivanka to name a few the most. So clearly it is not an attacking presidential families problem it is an attacking liberal presidential families problem. It is ok to attack when the President is Republican but you can’t attack when the President is a Democrat. It’s a total double standard. There should be a universal standard held by all and everyone. Attacks of a kind against the President’s family are never acceptable and will never be tolerated.

The Hill reported,

A spokesman for Ivanka Trump didn’t immediately return ITK’s request for comment. The song is reminiscent of past tracks from Eminem, including “Kim” and “’97 Bonnie and Clyde,” in which he rapped about murdering his then-wife. On another “Revival” song, Eminem boasts about making a pass at first lady Melania Trump. Eminem expressed frustration in a radio interview last month that Trump hadn’t responded to his freestyle or earlier taunts.

“I feel like he’s not paying attention to me,” Eminem said. “I was kinda waiting for him to say something, and for some reason, he didn’t say anything.” It’s far from the first time an entertainer has skewered the president in a gruesome manner.

Earlier this year, comedian Kathy Griffin created a firestorm after posing for a photo depicting a decapitated Trump. First lady Melania Trump called the snapshot “disturbing,” and questioned Griffin’s mental health. Griffin apologized, but later retracted her apology. Last month, Snoop Dogg shared an album cover that showed him standing over Trump’s dead body.”

The latest album release attacking Ivanka is just another example of how our society has been degraded. Share if you agree that this type of musical interpretation and attack against the First Family is unacceptable.

Urgent ALERT: Top Christmas Gift DEADLY… Get Rid Of It NOW!!!

It’s already too late for some kids…

Published

on

Each year we have that different toy that every kid wants and is sold out everywhere, but this year that toy might come with serious consequences.

Although these accusations haven’t been proven, a mother has taken to Facebook to warn fellow parents not to buy Hatchimals bath bombs products for their kids this Christmas season after her young daughter was left with what appears to be first-degree chemical burns all over her body.

Jennifer Renee who lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, posted what appears to be very disturbing pictures of her daughter Willow’s painful looking injuries on Facebook last week. The pictures were of her daughter’s distressing chemical burn injuries after using the Hatchimals Bath Bomb toy. She went on to claim her child sat in the bath for what was only 30 to 45 seconds when her skin became inflamed, red, and painful to the touch.

The mother later confirmed on her Facebook page that her daughter Willow had been diagnosed as having suffered a chemical burn and not an allergic reaction as she previously had suspected.

She then proceeded to call the company who produces this product, Spin Master and later revealed that the batch number is being investigated and will “likely” be recalled because of previous complaints.

This Young Girl Got A Serious Chemical Burn From A Bath Bomb via the Daily Mail:

A representative for Spin Master, which owns the Hatchimals brand, has responded with a statement: “Spin Master has been looking into the matter with the manufacturer and licensee to whom we license the Hatchimals brand. Safety is our top priority and we are deeply saddened to learn of the girl’s injuries. At this point, Global Brands Group has not found any indication of a product defect or manufacturing issue. Additionally, the product formulation has been subject to stringent safety testing and meets all industry standards.”

The Global Brands Group, the Hatchimals distributer, also provided a statement after reviewing the case: “Global Brands Group takes the safety of our products very seriously. We manufacture and ship millions of bath bombs and body washes, and have rigorous processes in place around development and testing, as well as all aspects of production. After careful review, we are confident our Hatchimals bath products are, in fact, safe. However, it is recommended that consumers be mindful of any adverse reactions they may have based on personal allergies or sensitivities.
The Spin Master representative who emailed us alleges that Jennifer Renee’s statement that an FDA expert responded to her specific accusations (in the photo posted by her on Facebook) is false, and that the photographed statement is unclear, and possibly taken out of context. We have reached out to the FDA consumer officer and will update this story as we learn more.

Kids aren’t looking for a fancy claw-footed bathtub with bubbles that are perfectly fluffed just so for the ‘gram — they’re just in there to get clean and get out. But many parents avoid potential temper tantrums around bath time by filling the water with washable soap crayons and fizzy balls of soaps that turn into toys. Sadly, it’s not always suds and smiles, as we learned from one mother who just issued a warning against a bath toy that allegedly gave her daughter a serious chemical burn.

In the case of Jennifer Renee and her daughter Willow, it was a Hatchimal that took bath time from fun to frightening. The Wonderball of bath bombs, a Hatchimal (like, hatching animals) looks like a giant egg, and it that dissolves on contact with water, “hatching” to reveal a “mystery surprise” (usually a plastic animal charm or figurine). Although, for Jennifer and Willow, the real surprise in the Hatchimal was burning pain.

Thursday, Jennifer posted her cautionary story on Facebook, claiming that she dropped a Hatchimal soap toy into Willow’s bath, and less than a minute after touching the water, Willow suffered red chemical burns all over her skin.

“PSA! Do NOT buy this for your children!” she wrote next to the split image of the Hatchimal product box and Willow’s burned hand. “Followed directions on package and placed in her bathtub,” Jennifer’s post continued. “Thought it would be fun for her because there was a toy inside. After being in the water 30-45 seconds she stated her skin was hurting, upon looking she has received a chemical burn from a KIDS BATH BOMB. (no she was not holding it and she has used multiple different kinds of bath bombs and never had this reaction) Just a warning people.”

After taking Willow to see a doctor to asses the reaction, Jennifer updated her post, explaining that the doctor ruled the irritation a chemical burn, more than just a simple adverse skin reaction. A chemical burn, as dermatologist Josh Zeichner explains it to us, is “a general term that refers to an allergic irritation reaction in the skin;” the common causes of the skin allergies of this type, include certain fragrances, preservatives, and dyes.

And in the case of the burning Hatchimal, Julie M. Barrows, a consumer safety officer from the Office of Cosmetics and Colors sector of the FDA, allegedly responded to Jennifer’s post, saying Willow’s reaction was likely caused by the D&C Red No. 33 dye. She reportedly explained in her note to Jennifer that the red dye is categorized as suitable for “externally applied cosmetics” (think: lipstick), but it “may not be used for bath products.

I am not saying this woman is a liar. But if there were previous complaints wouldn’t you think this wouldn’t be the first time we would have heard about this? I very much doubt Spin Master, who has a spotless safety record and produces millions of these products would have kept quiet all this time and risk multiple lawsuits instead of immediately recalling the product before more children were affected by whatever is in these toys that are causing the burns.

Please share if you want to get to the bottom of this issue….
