THIS MEANS WAR: Patriot Missile System Just Shot Down A Ballistic Missile Heading For Major International Airport

This is bad!

Published

on

Saudi Arabia has confirmed it has intercepted a ballistic missile fired over its capital city of Riyadh by rebels from Yemen. President Donald Trump immediately wasting no time in setting the blame on Iran.

The missile was shot down near the King Khaled International Airport in the northern outskirts of the city and did not cause any casualties although fragments of the projectile fell near the airport grounds. Flights were not disrupted because of the commotion. According to several Houthi-owned media outlets, Yemen’s Houthi rebels fired the missile across Saudi Arabia’s southern border. This is the first time a Houthi missile has come close to a heavily populated area and appears to be the farthest such a missile has reached inside Saudi Arabia. To put this missile launch into perspective, Riyadh is around 620 miles north of the border with Yemen.

Saudi Arabia is currently part of a multi-nation coalition who is carrying out bombings of the Iran-allied Houthi movement in Yemen, which thanks to the weakness of the Barack Hussein Obama administration has effectively taken over the capital city of Sanaa and other parts of the country during its bloody and lengthy civil war.

Via The Washington Times:

Setting the record straight on the Yemeni civil war
The Saudi coalition is fighting to thwart Iran’s encirclement scheme

Yemen is in its third year of a civil war that started in March 2015, pitting Houthi rebels against the internationally recognized government of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, which is backed by a Saudi Arabia-led coalition consisting of Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The war began after Houthi rebels seized parts of the country, including the capital, Sana’a. More than 7,600 people have died in the fighting plus a serious cholera outbreak has infected more than 300,000.

The new element in this civil war is the introduction of Iran, which is backing the Shiite Houthi rebels with direct material and personnel support. With Iran already deeply involved in both the Syrian and Iraqi civil wars, why would Iran involve itself in the Yemeni civil war? It is all part of expanding the Iranian crescent to become the dominant power in the Middle East. By establishing itself in Yemen, it completes not only the encirclement of Saudi Arabia but also control of the strategic Bab-al-Mandab Strait, where more than one-third of the world’s oil supply passes on a daily basis. It would also mean Iran’s de facto control of the Suez Canal.

Such control would directly challenge U.S. core interests in the Middle East and, therefore, justifies our involvement in the Yemeni crisis. Our interests in Yemen reflect our overall strategic concerns throughout the Middle East, which are:

• Preventing Iran’s Middle East hegemony objectives, which include controlling the entire Arabian Peninsula with its oil and gas resources, as well as Islam’s two most holy cities, Mecca and Medina. Implicit in this objective is Iranian regime change.

• Ensuring freedom of the seas by preventing Iran from controlling the Strait of Hormuz as well as ending Iran’s Houthi proxy threat to the Bab-al-Mandab Strait and de facto control of the Suez Canal. Recent anti-ship missile and mining attacks by the Houthis illustrate the gravity of this threat.
• Eliminating terrorists in the region who threaten U.S. objectives. This includes not only the Islamic State, but al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

May 2017 visit to Riyadh.

There has been a well-coordinated international propaganda campaign led by Iran’s Washington lobbyists and the leftist mainstream media with the main theme that Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States, regularly carries out airstrikes against civilians, including children. It has been estimated that more than 7,600 civilians have been killed and 42,000 wounded, most of them attributed to Saudi airstrikes. However, information gathered by the U.N. human rights office shows apparent indiscriminate attacks on civilian populations by both sides in the conflict. Further complicating the situation is the fact that Yemen is on the brink of a famine.

To set the record straight, Saudi Arabia has been and continues to be the single largest donor of humanitarian aid to Yemen. It has provided more than $274 million in humanitarian assistance to Yemen through U.N. agencies. Further, Saudi Arabia has established the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid to facilitate and coordinate relief efforts in Yemen. Saudi Arabia has recently announced it will donate an additional $267 million in aid. The Salman Center just donated another $10 million to the International Red Cross.

It should also be noted that Saudi Arabia has allowed Yemenis who illegally enter the Kingdom to become legal residents. This status gives them access to medical care, education and work opportunities. More than 600,000 have migrated to the kingdom.

This year, the Saudi coalition announced the formation of a “high-end independent commission” to look into the coalition’s conduct of actions in Yemen, including rules of engagement involving civilians. The coalition has also established a hotline with Doctors Without Borders to help protect their facilities and staff. The Saudi Coalition also developed a list of 4,800 sites with coordinates not to be targeted. However, none of these efforts will satisfy the leftist media or leftist elements on the U.N. Human Rights Council who want yet another independent group to review the situation in Yemen.

Regrettably, more than 1,100 children have been killed in the Yemeni civil war, while some as young as 10 years old have been recruited by the Houthi rebels to fight. Recruiting children in Yemen to fight is nothing new. It is a way of life and has gone on for decades.

The disinformation program has been fairly successful. For example, ill-informed officials like Sen. Bob Corker believe that choking off arms to the Saudi coalition and denying other assistance and training will contribute to the end to the war. The same theme is pushed by the United Kingdom, France and others by their left-wing politicians and media. What this will do, however, is help Iran achieve one of its major goals — total control over the flow of oil.

In order to hasten the end of the Yemeni civil war, the following actions should be taken:
• Continue providing arms and on-ground advice, such as targeting intelligence and close air support training for the Saudi coalition air forces.

• Set up a blockade in Yemeni waters to interdict arms smuggling by Iran.

• Develop plans to assist the Saudi coalition to retake the port of Hodeida. Such action will isolate southern Houthi rebel forces from their bases in the highlands. It will also facilitate the recapture of the capital and its airport. Further, it would be a tremendous psychological blow to the rebels and Iran.

In typical President Donald Trump fashion, while on his trip to Asia the president quickly let the businessman in him take over by saying that a shot was just taken by Iran at Saudi Arabia. And quickly added that our defense system had immediately knocked it down. He was, of course, referring to the Patriot Missile batteries Saudi Arabia has purchased from the US.

He later added “That’s how good we are. Nobody makes what we make and now we’re selling it all over the world.”

As Military Hero Sang The National Anthem Fans Immediately Watched The Disgusting Display On The Giants Sideline

Published

on

As the boycott of the National Football League picks up steam, the spotlight on the players who are protesting the National Anthem keeps getting brighter. Even though their protest is on the verge of bankrupting the NFL, the league has decided that it won’t put a stop to their disrespect, that this is the one area where the players will have free reign.

Despite what is being said by the players (that the protest is meant as no disrespect toward the military or those who have served in the past) it’s hard not to see this as a slap in the face to everything patriotic. The entire premise of the protest is to draw attention to what they’re calling a broken system. They’re saying that the country is, as a whole, racist and that police are targeting the black community.

Since most of their former fans don’t agree, or at least don’t appreciate the protest, everyone at the NFL’s jobs hangs in the balance. What the NFL needs right now is some good press, but with players like New York Giants Olivier Vernon around, they’re not about to get it. Vernon, like many other players, insists that he means no disrespect to the military, but his actions at a game on Thanksgiving would say otherwise. The defensive end knelt while the anthem was being sung by a military hero just before the Giants game against the Washington Redskins, and people aren’t happy about it.

Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon kneels during the

This shouldn’t come as any great surprise though since Vernon recently told Newsday that he planned to keep kneeling until he feels that his cause has been made right. No word on what that will look like, or it’s ETA, but until then, Vernon will be kneeling:

“Vernon is the only Giants player who continues to protest during the national anthem, and he plans to do so for the foreseeable future.

Still hoping to raise awareness about social injustice and racial inequality in America, the defensive end will not relent in the face of criticism that continues to come his way from fans who believe he is disrespecting the military by not standing for the anthem.

‘What it would take for me to stand is if people can understand what the whole message is behind it,’ Vernon told Newsday. ‘That would actually help a whole lot, but everybody doesn’t see things that way and tries to distort what the message was from the beginning, which is basically social injustice on African-Americans and police brutality.’

Vernon understands that not everyone respects his decision to take a knee, but he remains convinced that the best way to draw attention to the issues he’s most concerned about is to continue his form of protest.

Would there ever come a time that he would stand for the anthem?

‘Unless we can work something out and find the solution and try to address what the real issue is,’ he said, ‘I’ll continue to take a knee. I really don’t care what people outside have to say. I just believe in what’s right and what’s wrong, and I’m going to show support for what I believe in.’ Vernon said he continues to be criticized for not standing but that he tries to ignore most of it.

‘I get [criticism] all the time,’ he said. ‘If it was anything that actually bothered me, I would care. There’s stuff that some people say that comes out of their mouth that is just ignorant and uneducated, so I just keep it moving and I don’t really address anything anybody has to say. If they can’t come at me on something intellectual, then I don’t have a response for you.’

He also isn’t concerned by the recent television ratings decline, at least some of which has been attributed to fans being turned off by the anthem protests.

‘At the end of the day, there’s a First Amendment right as an American citizen,’ Vernon said. ‘You have a right to protest peacefully. Protests aren’t supposed to be comfortable. Some people aren’t going to understand.’”

At the end of the day, he shows up for work and puts on a uniform just like millions of other people. And just like the rest of us, he has to do what his boss says, or he’ll lose his job. If his boss says that it’s ok to kneel on the job, then he can do it, but if his boss says he has to stand while working, then he’d better stand. And if that company goes out of business because it’s employees have made themselves so unpleasant, and the owner refused to ask them to stop being unpleasant or fire them when they didn’t, then both he, and the owner will be out of work.

None of that has anything to do with the constitution; it has to do with how a free market works in a free country, like the one we live in, and the one that our military veterans have fought and died for. Call me old-fashioned, but I think that deserves enough respect to stand for a few moments, once per game

TRUMP IS ON FIRE! Taunts NFL Commissioner With Epic Statement About His National Felon League

Published

on

And this is why we all love President Donald J. Trump.

Because the NFL and its ingrate ball tossing illiterate players have effectively managed to put an end the most popular spectator sport in America, Thanksgiving Day did not feature the best football anymore. But that doesn’t mean there weren’t any NFL fireworks courtesy of President Donald Trump.

President Trump retweeted an article shared by Dan Scavino Jr. about the NFL’s poor ratings, pinning them on the Giants’ Olivier Vernon taking a knee as a serviceman sang the anthem this Thanksgiving day.

But as usual, Trump didn’t just stop there, he also incorporated the now infamous statement from the Texans owner Bob McNair’s about the “inmates running the asylum’. But he rephrased it a bit and wrote “players are the boss!” at the NFL.

The ignoramus that is the ball tossing Vernon has, of course, been kneeling since Week 3 so this protest isn’t necessarily news. But the lack of support for Thanksgiving games does prove the American public as a whole are sick and tired of the politicization being done by people who get paid on average 2.1 million dollars a year to toss around a ball. That’s more money than most of us will see in our entire lifetimes.

Although the NFL and left-wing media outlets like ESPN are set on trying to convince us that since there are so many games per week people are suffering from “NFL Fatigue,” yeah right!

Via Fox News:

I’m from Green Bay; my high school colors were green & gold and I am part owner of the Green Bay Packers from when they sold stock after the 1997 Super Bowl victory. So, it took quite a bit to get me to boycott the NFL, but they managed it. Until the owners require their players to stand for the national anthem, or sit for the game, I won’t watch a minute, and I’m not alone.

Since Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the anthem in a misguided protest against police violence, the NFL has been hemorrhaging fans. Both TV viewership and attendance at stadiums are well down and once people find other ways to spend their Sundays, they may not come back.

Let there be no doubt, the NFL is a business and the owners of those billion dollar plus franchises have a problem. A bunch of their players want to play social justice games, but their core audience, the folks who pay the bills, just want them to play football. And we really don’t like the disrespect shown to the anthem, the flag and those who fought for our country including those who came home in coffins with that flag draped over them.

This Veterans Day weekend there was quite a duality. The NFL went whole hog saluting the military and trying to mend fences. Historically the league, and most of the players, have been very supportive of the military. Part of that was the tens of millions of tax dollars the military paid them to put on displays with the flag and flyovers for the recruiting value, but there was also a genuine bond for the most part.

But at the same time there was a push to boycott the NFL. I did my part on social media:

Like many others, seeing a bunch of pampered millionaires stealing the moment when we should all come together in thanks for the freedoms we enjoy, and yes for those who safeguard them, well that just flat pisses me off.

They say the protests are not against the anthem or the flag or the military for that matter. But that is garbage because the effect is to disrespect all of those things so they can virtue signal their solidarity with the radical left. They could do their social justice pandering whenever they want, and they made a conscious choice. By choosing to put the spotlight on themselves instead of the symbols of what makes this country great.

That just doesn’t sit well with those of us who served, or have family who did or who just want to enjoy a football game without politics. We get plenty of bitter arguments and displays of partisanship all day every day. Football was a time to forget all that and just remember how much the Bears still suck. They took that and even worse did so with divisive anti-police grievance mongering to a crowd with a heavy component of Blue Lives Matters sentiment.

We will see if the NFL charm offensive worked, although the pictures of half empty stadiums should sure give the owners cause to worry. It’s pretty simple to fix, tell the players to stand up for America or the rest of us may sit out…permanently.

Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com

The bottom line here is that no matter what narrative the left wing media tries to spin this on, people as a whole side with President Trump on this issue. If this was indeed NFL fatigue then NFL stadiums wouldn’t be half, or more, empty while college football stadiums are practically full and have not suffered any decline in viewership or attendance whatsoever. Americans still love football, it’s the NFL they refuse to watch!

Please share if you are boycotting the NFL and it’s rich spoiled ball tossing brats….

Jerry Jones Just Delivered The Final Blow To NFL Commissioner and Pissed Off Every Anti-American Player!

Published

on

The National Football League, led by Commissioner Rodger Goodell has spent this season on the express train to bankruptcy. Because of the National Anthem protest, let by the players, the former fans of the league have decided to boycott, which has led to massive losses for the league. The most recent estimations guess that the league has lost about $500 million in TV advertising dollars alone, not counting ticket sales, merchandising losses and the potential of an additional billion dollars lost in tax subsidies.

All of which could have been reversed if the league were willing to just tell their players to stand for the National Anthem. It’s a move that the NBA made months ago, with great success, and it’s a move that already had the groundwork in the league bylaws. However, the since they refused to require even the slightest respect out of their players, the fans (including the President) have washed their hands of the game.

The steep decline is coming to a halt as rock bottom approaches and the President along with Cowboy’s owner Jerry Jones are leading the charge. Jones was quick to say that his team wouldn’t be participating in disrespecting the anthem and has been working to fix the problem with the league by making it what people want again. President Trump also wants to see those who disrespect America punished, and together they are bringing the heat to the NFL and Commissioner Goodell. USA Today reports that the President’s most recent tweets might be causing a pretty big stir:

“President Donald Trump has been preoccupied with the sports world this week, and he started Friday morning with tweets about the NFL and Tiger Woods.

Trump criticized the NFL for the third time this week — Friday’s tweet took aim at the players and commissioner Roger Goodell. Trump wrote that Goodell has lost control and added that “players are the boss.”

‘Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues without penalty to the players. The Commissioner has lost control of the hemorrhaging league. Players are the boss!'”

It’s not the President’s job to keep the league financially stable, however, as a businessman, it would be difficult for him to look at this poorly run business and not see how they could improve. It his, however, his job to keep America in the best position possible, and it wouldn’t look good at all to the outside world if the President were patting people on the back who persistently insult their own country. We had 8 years of that, and it’s what American voted against last November.

“On Wednesday morning, Trump blasted the NFL after reports that the league would consider keeping teams in the locker room during the national anthem next season. He also attacked LaVar Ball, calling him an “ungrateful fool” after Ball failed to credit Trump’s efforts in the release of three UCLA basketball players after a shoplifting incident in China. Ball’s son, LiAngelo, was among the players who had been detained.

Early Monday, Trump tweeted that Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch should be suspended after Lynch sat during the anthem on Sunday.”

Since the league is a business of its own, it’s allowed to do whatever it wishes, and the customers are allowed to take their business elsewhere. But since so many have chosen to do that, the teams are also losing huge amounts of money. When it comes to teams like the Cowboys, owned by Jerry Jones, they haven’t been spared the loss even though they have banned kneeling.

According to Fox News Insider, Jones appreciates all the help that President Trump is trying to be to the league, and he also plans to do something about the problem with Commissioner Goodell and his instance on crippling the league:

“The owner of the Dallas Cowboys said he ‘appreciates’ President Trump’s weighing in on the national anthem protests by National Football League players.

‘I certainly think that the thing he is addressing is certainly a part of how we want to make our game better,’ Jerry Jones told CNN on Wednesday.

‘There’s no question because of our visibility, our substantiveness, that we are looked to for social responsibility as well. This is all part of what I’ve been talking about with the commissioner, and certainly I appreciate not only the president, but I want everybody to be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys,’ Jones said.

Jones originally knelt with his team for the national anthem, but since then has stated players will be benched for doing so.

NFL players have taken various other poses besides standing as a statement against racial injustice in America. However, veterans and others have taken offense at what they see as a snub to the American flag.”

In other words; the NFL is never going to get its reputation back as long as we keep losing fans, and they’re not going to stop losing fans until they start being more respectful. It would be great if the respect that they should show to the anthem and flag came from a sense of loyalty, but if it has to come from the loss of money, that will work too.

It looks like the NFL might be on it’s way out for good, and not a moment too soon.
